This is utterly ridiculous. Even if we did lose our heads and handed over money foe something which happened more than two hundred years ago, they would just spend it on trash and then be back for more in ten years time.

Everyone loves free stuff. I'm mixed-race(1/2 Indian, 1/4 Jamaican, 1/4 English), i figure that we(the British) could've just poisoned all the slaves in Jamaica and taken that land for our own use, that would be helping us to this day obviously to have that land as ours, but we gave that land to them instead. So how much is that land worth? If that land is not considered reparations(and it is), and we should give them money, then why shouldn't they give us back the land that we took from the Spanish, that they invaded? We took it fair and square, and gave it to the people currently living there in Jamaica, so. If we're gonna entertain that idea at all, then it could only be a trade, we give them money they leave the country and give it back to us. I think that land is probably worth more than £200 billion altogether, it would earn us that much in just a few years and then on and on.

Only about 1% of white people owned slaves, so why should 100% pay compensation. Crime statistics show the number of crimes committed by ethnic groups. How about the ethnic groups with the highest crime levels compensating the rest of the population? They might argue this is unfair, as only a minority of that group committed the crimes; only a minority of the white population owned slaves, but they are all expected to pay repatriations. If it is all right for white people to pay reparations. Then, it is all right for communities who commit more crimes, to compensate the rest of society.
