It’s very sad when certain people can hide behind the law

The optics do not look good when the judge was offered a very nice retirement package, which is her finishing by the end of the year. I understand Samantha will be sad, but this case has got be affecting her mental wellbeing at some level. If I was Sam I’d walk away and write a very good book….😮

Any attention, negative or positive, gives MM the fuel she craves so always best to completely ignore anything to do with her. The whole world sees how narcissistic MM is and how toxic her fan base is. Samantha and Thomas should ignore everything she does and live their best lives, as this will drive a narcissist crazy!

Thank you, Pluto for breaking this lawsuit down. As a working member of the legal profession in the U.S., I too felt Samantha Markle's case was weak. When the judge remanded the case back for 2nd rewrite (remand), I knew Samantha's lawyers had not met the prong thresholds on each element of defamation or on defamation by implication. MM did "opine" her opinions that were harmless accusations at best. i.e. saying she was an only child...while untrue....never rose to the level of defaming Samantha's reputation. MM plays the "gaslighting" game well as does Harry. Ignoring both of them like the RF does is the best remedy to dealing with them.

Honestly, I never understood the need for the lawsuit. Yeah, I would have been angry about the lies, but I would have said to myself, " What a B," and then moved on. I find it hard to believe her attorneys actually thought they had a winnable case. I think they were doing more for the notoriety.

Where did the money for the lawyers come from? I hope this hasn’t bankrupted Samantha. I saw on her brother’s channel that Sam is pondering on an Appeal. I hope she doesn’t waste any more money on this. MM will always win because she has unlimited funds and can afford the best lawyers in the State. EDIT: It’s my belief that Sam’s lawyers will encourage Sam to appeal, purely to make more money out of her.

Great video! The tide will turn even if it is to just wash her away. She is not a well liked person. Her inability to be part of her birth family, h's family, within her marital family and her previous cable tv family, is a continuous problem. She is often away from there never seen 'kids.' Their marriage is a mess. They both have alcohol/drug problems. They both have mental issues. They are both narcs in addition to their other mental problems. She blows through money that she or he have little chance of regaining because they are both talentless. Their finances seem dubious and appear to be a money laundering machine. She is not entitled to his inheritance that is being held [I believe Anne is guardian]. He looks like he is fed up with her antics and the claw. They will divorce unless he mysteriously ODs. She will probably write a book but her history of lying puts anything she does in doubt. She will burn all her bridges and hopefully be stranded in obscurity.

There may be a difference in defamation law between Florida and California so Samantha will check that out, I expect. The battle of the Markles will continue.

Samantha could have pursued the case. Knowing it could fail but continued anyway to see how far it would go. Also she wanted to subject Megan to the stress and discomfort she usually induces on others. Her family, father, RF .... Samantha fought back figuratively speaking.

I really wish Samantha had better lawyers who could manipulate as well as Meghan and Harry do. In my eyes she really did have a case, but it all comes down to the wording and how much proof you have. I feel for Samantha, because I went through the same thing with an ex. He manipulated things that I couldn’t prove, unless I got every one of his friends to sign affidavits and testify for me, which he knew was never going to happen. I had to start my life from scratch, and walk away with practically nothing, just because he was vindictive and wanted to beat me and see me lose. The courts just don’t work for victims of manipulation. I hope Samantha and her brother and dad can move on and forget about Meghan. She is one of the worst manipulators, but things are catching up to her, so it won’t be long before they can sit back and watch Meghan get her karma.

Basically… THE LAW IS AS ASS… I went through a legal battle with hard evidence on betrayal, lies, theft and cheating but the law only saw the opposing pity play.

When I turned 16, my mom asked me if it would bother me if she went back to her maiden name. She only kept her married name as we were growing up, for our sake. Mom's might go back and forth for reasons such as my moms.

This always seemed a ridiculous law suit to me. I'm no fan of meghan but the comment about growing up without siblings has to be taken in context of how it was said. She was talking about her pregnancy and said she was pleased Archie had a sibling as she grew up an only child. She did grow up an only child. By the time she was three both her siblings were adults. How much does anyone really remember before the age of 7? Having a sibling your own age is very different. You play, argue and laugh and cry with them. Samantha had no evidence to support her claims. The lawyers shouldnt have encouraged her, the judge should have knocked it on the head sooner, but ultimately Samantha is to blame. She came out firing with her nasty book before meghan was even married, all for money. She came to London banging on the Palace gates demanding an audience and did interviews, for money. The whole family are just vile attention seekers and money grabbers and now is the time to just go away. Look to the Middletons, who after 20 years, and a fair bit of abuse, have never spoken out. Its called dignity. Something not one of the Markles have. I would have loved to see Meghan squirm but to be honest, that family is just a nest of vipers. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Samantha has "won" in the court of public opinion. She has played a major role in showing that her sister is problematic. Meghans reputation is terrible. But that's based on her own doings.

I agree with you Pluto. It was iffy from the start. The fact that they let Samantha refile let's you know she was on shaky ground. I know people don't want to hear this, but Meghan was within her lived experience & felt an only child. I grew up with all 6 of my siblings but always felt like an only child. I was the youngest. The fact the people are holding on to this case like it's a lifeline amazes me because it's a weak case. Nothing nefarious going on with the judge. It's just a weak azz case.

Can she refile as a harassment case? How about suing certain sugars themselves?

What I got from this is Megs doesn't lie per se she just bends the truth to fit her opinion.

They show such a well balanced and reasoned understanding and you (both!) are a joy to watch One thing to bear in mind (so that not too much excitement is being stored up for a first appearance) is that Catherine may not actually appear at the Easter service in Windsor. The message from KP was : “after Easter”. In the UK Easter falls during the school holidays so the family may not be seen during this time. Unless Catherine feels well enough or wants particularly to appear on Easter Sunday, we may only see her after 17 April when school terms resume.

So sad but it seems that the wicked people always get away with it.
