Today I am off to the London Excel for the Disney 100 years of wonder exhibition. We have VIP tickets so we are able to attend at any time on the day we booked.
There are no toilets inside the Disney exhibit so make sure to go before you enter!
Upon arrival we got our VIP lanyard, Disney pin and artwork print of the new film Disney Wish. There was a photo op before you enter a room with a mini presentation with Mickey Mouse and Walt Disney himself.
Then you start out learning about Walt's early life and the start of the Disney company. There is lots of artwork and documents from Walt.
After seeing the decades screens showing milestones, you enter a room with some animation and movie pictures and props. There is a beautiful interactive Sleeping Beauty book and a photo op with the Fairy Godmother from Cinderella. They even have one of the carousel horses from Mary Poppins. They had some animation figures and the dress from the live action Cruella movie. An Olaf from Frozen puppet and the Little Mermaid live action mermaid tail.
Items from Jungle Cruise, Pirate of the Caribbean & Peter Pan lights on the floor. They had BB-8 and the real lightsaber Luke Skywalker - Mark Hamill used in Star Wars. A display with a few different masks from Marvel movies and Giselle's dress from Enchanted!
Mickey Mouse was in a room that had lots of music in there and another section was themed around Disney nature. The Disney Parks section was my personal favourite, it had an interactive table where you could see infrom from all the Disney Parks - Disneyland, Walt Disney World, Tokyo Disney, Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland & Shangai Disneyland. It had a model of the Hong Kong Disneyland Castle too.
Big screens and a glitter efffect was the ending to the tour and we were given a soft drink as part of the VIP ticket too.
We really enjoyed this tour, it really showed off so much Disney history.

AMAZING! 😍 I have to say, London has outdone Philadelphia (our local venue for the exhibition) in just about every way! Love the orchestral accompaniment of all those Disney renaissance music pieces as you make your way through the different exhibits. $15K USD adjusted for inflation amounts to about $270k USD today, btw ☺️ Mickey and Minnie have come a long, long way, as have most of the OG’s! The color palette flippers might low key have been my favorite part of the whole experience. It’s crazy to think about Walt’s legacy enduring 100 years…and actually, almost 101 now! We should all be so lucky to have left such a magical mark on the world when we pass on. ✨ Terrific video, Hannah! So glad you were able to visit and see this exhibition!

Was the Philadelphia venue the same sort of size or could it have been a little smaller maybe?! Oh wow thats quite a value jump from then to now! I loved those colour palette's but I was so bad at them!! :D Thanks so much for watching!

@@HannahEnchanted I think Philly's was a little smaller, judging solely from the exterior of the venue - still, they did a great job with the space that they had!
