No kidding. I mean, they did well and I kinda like the idea of the B&W paired with the color. But not at the expense of missing out on so many classic characters!

@@TheCardGuyReviews it's because a lot of the old IPs have been rewritten (sorry I mean "Reimagined")... if they went with either version of the Little Mermaid for instance, there would be outrage!

@@TheCardGuyReviews it's not politics, just personal preference. When you said "what about the Little Mermaid" it begs the question "which one?". Whereas 5 years ago it would not.

It’s actually 24 characters each repeated twice - but point taken and I agree! So many more characters that could have been represented. Even if you stay classic Disney and leave out Marvel and Star Wars, still a ton to choose from.

@@TheCardGuyReviews Yeah, it was 24 my bad! But yeah, even if we limit to just Disney and Pixar there's just a TON to choose from. I mean this set includes Mickey, Minnie, and Donald but Goofy is absent as well as others like Clarabel and for films I can think of a few like Hercules, Mr. Incredible, Joy, Quasimodo, Pocahontas, Kuzco, Yzma, Kronk, Mike, Sully, Genie, Robin Hood, etc. I understand with a 52 card deck you have to pick and choose but 24 characters repeated twice just feels lazy and that's a shame.
