I was 6 at the time so I didn’t even know how to use a computer, but omg I had no clue the majority of HSM 2 was chosen by fans! That’s soo cool! This was definitely my childhood era and I miss it soo much, I remember being on vacation with my family and watching HSM 2 in the hotel room 😅

I never really noticed how rehearsed they sounded hosting the high school musical 2 primere. I get that they wanted it perfect but damn every single word was rehearsed from the questions down to the answers. Not a single sentence flowed naturally… I guess that came with the pressure of being a Disney star

This era truly was golden!! There was something extra special about it, unfortunately I feel like things really did go down hill after this era. It’s crazy to rewatch a preview of Wizards Of Waverley Place coming. 😂 Such a nostalgic flash back. But yeah starting with That’s So Raven, and Lizzie McGuire through Suite Life and of course Hannah Montana, up until Hannah Montana, Wizards, and Suite Life ended. I feel like that was the golden era for sure. ❤️

"High School Musical" was my childhood. It's probably my favorite movie series of all time. I still have my "High School Musical 2" Barbie dolls. I grew up in this era of Disney Channel, and that's why I got nostalgic upon seeing familiar actors I grew up seeing when I watched "The Santa Stakeout" ("Twitches") and "A Christmas Dance Reunion." I looked forward to the Disney Channel Games, they were so much fun to watch. 17:00 It wasn't until after I saw "Enchanted" in theaters and watched it on TV that my mom pointed out to me the significance of the "Wicked" billboard in regards to the actress who played Nancy. And around that same time, I was introduced to the musical "Wicked." That is why I have never have thought of Idina Menzel as being just Elsa because I knew her as Nancy and Elphaba, which is what got me excited about Menzel being in "Frozen." Once for my birthday, a friend gave me a "Hannah Montana" makeup set and I had a "Hannah Montana" dress-up outfit. Sometimes I forget that kids nowadays don't know that Raven is from "That's So Raven" and Miley Cyrus as "Hannah Montana." That's why I always noticed her cameo in "High School Musical 2."
