I'm freaking screaming right now. So many memories. Even as a 27 year old adult, I can totally understand why my childhood was so much more chill than kid's today... Disney used to be decent. And to be honest, Disney was even better in the 40's/50's compared to 2000's. It's so sad how everything seems to get worse as time goes on :-( I wish we as a society would put great effort to stop that trend from happening.

Holy shit thank you!!! Seeing this collection of promos is AWESOME. I can't believe this was when Even Stevens was new, when In a Heartbeat was new, and when The Other Me was being promoted. It was also cool to see the Movie Surfers episode with Remember the Titans, that was great. Hope you have more of these to share. Fun fact, these promos aired the day my mom turned 37 (yep my mom's birthday is August 18th)

I grew up watching Even Stevens (although I myself did not watch Disney Channel until my parents switched to DirecTV), the show was funny especially with the brother/sibling rivalry with Ren and Louis Stevens.

I was in Kindergarten/1st grade and I vaguely remember this. It's an amazing flashback tho.

I only experienced a little bit of it since it took a long time for the channel to be available in my country. So I mostly watched Disney and Toon Disney when I was travelling to the States. Disney Channel is the epitome of degeneracy now. I'm so glad I grew up in this era, full of creative and good-hearted content. I wish kids today could've experienced it... It seems like a lot of the shows and movies today promote egotism, sex, wealth, etc.

Lord of Heaven please give me my wish that I will be born in reality on earth as in September 6th 1997 so I can change my life to prevent autism and become a typical person by speak with my first words with letters, watch education channels on tv, learning how to reading, writing, counting numbers, playing while exercising since I can be a 2 year old in 1999 and spend more time with family from my old home in Sterling, VA and hanging out with new friends in Sterling elementary school since I can be a 5 year old in 2002 as a second chance.

So Weird was a crazy good show! Pretty daring to make an X-Files Jr. The original writers were going to go even darker in the planned 3rd season, but I guess having Fi (😍!) get possessed and need to be exorcised by Molly’s priest brother would be a bit much for Disney Channel, tbh.. They should’ve moved the show over to ABC or something and gone with it, but instead they took it in a lame, nerfed direction with that blonde Anie chick trying to make her another teen pop star. Fi was cool exactly because she wasn’t some plastic, teen model. She was just some regular nerdy girl-who actually was pretty dang cute in a more subtle way.
