I didn't realize that back then, but now I am so grateful I got to watch Raven in my teens!!! The character was funny, smart, adorable; a black girl, with a normal body! She was relatable, she was the friend you wish you could have or the person you wish you could be. Raven taught me so much about values and self love. Forever grateful.

I loved the dentist episode, when Raven was called “Dr do as I say”. I remember she was styling the little girls hair with toothpaste, and the little girl goes “What does this have to do with my teeth”, and Raven responds “if your hair looks cute, nobody will notice them nasty little teeth” and I was HOWLING!! 😂😂😂😂😂. There’s so many good episodes, but that was one of my favourites!!

I still love watching it to this day. My parents told me about how The Carol Burnett Show had actually first aired, more than a decade before I was even born, but to me it was like a new experience. Three's Company is also an all-time favorite because of the beauty of the physical comedy. That's So Raven, is legendary along with those timeless classics.

I recently started rewatching some That's So Raven. I was surprised at how funny it still is even as an adult. A lot of the physical comedy is on point.

How y'all doing?? Was my favorite lines of hers the way she added that husk behind it.. lmao! That So Raven for me helped me come out of my social shell and taught me how to be relatable.. I acted like her so much that ppl started saying I looked like her when I made certain facial expressions of hers.. and It helped me be funnier with ppl.. I can't tell you from the time I was 17 all the way up until I was like 27-28 how many ppl randomly said I looked like her or I reminded them of her.. that's how influential her and her show was for me.. Now that I'm 33 Ion look so much like her now and haven't quite heard that I do since then, but it always gave me a sense of recognition and opened the door to lots of new friendships back then! I was being myself with a dab of my girl that's so Raven! That show and her character will always be a staple in my heart! It brings back a time where I had the most friendships with others and the most fun in my life!I really wanted to be her at one point! Lol!! But I grew up and now raising a family.. Ps if y'all got that app SLING all 4 seasons are on that app!
