Dang, it sucks how much disney changed DCP after the pandemic! They took away a lot of options and freedoms. There used to be multiple house complexes, you were able to choose the amount of roommates you wanted and choose your own people. It was kinda part of the fun to become friends before arriving! The roles too, they no longer give you a choice in it and they just assign you whatever 😭 but i hope everyone is still having fun!! ✨

Dating my program here, I was Vista Way, and your roommate was based on who was in line with you, so if you wanted to room with someone you best made sure they were with you in line……I may have missed it but do they still do random inspections? Major jealous of in house laundry, we always made sure to make friends with someone in the commons to do laundry for free. Also major jealous they provided you guys with a tv! We didn’t even have internet in the apartments yet whe I did the program, they were just installing it!

There is the international college program that I know is short term and before i believe it could be extended. There is also the Cultural Representative Program that is a year long program and you work in your countries pavilion.

I'm coming on May 16 and am curious if they fill in the roommates at different arrival times. For example could I not have another roommate until a later date or do they fill the room with everyone who has the same arrival and departure dates.

Hi! Do the rooms have a lock, so the others can't enter while you're out? A lock that only you can unlock ?

Yes! They all have a lock if you are in your own room! If you share a bedroom with someone else you will both have key access to the bedroom, but you can buy a lock for the locking cabinets under your bed for valuables

I did the college program in 1991 and we were in Vista Way. Shared bedrooms with either a 2 bedroom/2 bath (4 people) or 3 bedroom/3 bath (6 people).....no choice on roommates and no choice to be outside of Vista Way. No pools, no weight rooms, no laundry in the apartment, no events.......pretty much no amenities. You didn't talk about parking but I hear it's a huge pain now. We were able to park with no issues at Vista Way and most people drove to work instead of taking the buses. We had a lot of fun.

Cp 93 and Fellowship program 95/96 and Vista had 2 pools and we had activities thrown for us but no one went to them as we threw our own parties. I have told my son not to do CP or int’l program as there are too many rules now. 😂

I recommend joining a Facebook group. I’m part of a couple and we are allowed to post a q&a about ourselves. We share our dates of move in and you can request to live with them if you think you’ll be a good match ☺️

to my knowledge, the storage is the same across layouts. the 4x4 MIGHT have some more bathroom space since you have your own!

Tu peux faire le Cultural Representative Program qui dure 1 an et tu travailles à Epcot et le Cultural Exchange Program qui est pendant l'été et tu peux travailler n'importe ou (Les applications du programme 1 an ouvrent bientôt à tout le monde (Ils ont ouvert pour les gens qui n'avaient pas pu en 2020), mais le programme d'été n'est pas encore revenu (Peut-être à l'été 2023). Il y a des groupes facebook qui peuvent t'aider avec des québécois/canadiens qui ont fait ou veulent faire le programme: Disney CEP 2023 - Canada. (J'ai fait le programme d'été 2 fois)

They open applications at specific periods. The applications for Fall 2022 just closed. Application for Spring 2023 should open sometime around August.

you can put in for a medical accommodation! there are apartments where you can have your own bedroom or your own bedroom and bathroom!

I worked Disney as a cm and just got an apartment and job my own. Lol My Caitlin Is thought that to s your spelling my daughter spells it different than u u are a y So many ways to spell it
