hi friends!! my name is Samantha and I am in the Disney College Program making my childhood dreams come true! this video shows my move in day to Flamingo Crossings, aka Disney College Program housing in Florida right next to Walt Disney World! there's also a little tour of my 4x4 room! congrats!! make the most of your time here by getting out of your comfort zone and meeting new people and going to events, but also give yourself rest days :)

Question! I’m going this fall but I have a day I need off. Can I ask off when I get there? It’s a week after I move in. Or should I change my date to get there sooner and hope someone can pick up my shift for that day?

hey, I am not sure that you would be able to put it in now before becoming a cast member. I would maybe try to change your date since a week after move in is training and training schedules are usually crazy and you need to attend work those days. you can also try calling the disney programs team and maybe they can help more!

@@lifeofsamantha yeah, when I first got accepted I had made plans and was going to start 5 days after, so it worked out but the dates offered as I was filling stuff out were not the same dates so I was like oh no!! I will call thank you!

i got a question. do you have a say in which department you get for whatever job you get because im seriously considering it

I believe that you are currently allowed to write your top 3 role choices, but it is not guaranteed that you will get one of them. My advice would be to try your best to tailor your resume and phone interview answers to whatever role you are hoping for!
