I live in a Brazilian city where is hot and humid all year long, so I have some suggestions: - Try to wear light fabrics like linen and cotton - If you want to look fancy but don't want to overheat, wear outfits that look put together but are also cool, like long dresses, shorter pants, structured shorts, sleeveless shirts with a high neck - Wear sandals and flip-flops. I recommend Havaianas', they are a little expensive in the US but I swear they are so comfortable and you'll never want to wear anything else - Learn new techniques to make your makeup sweat resistant

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! I am from Illinois as well and I have been struggling to figure out what to pack and I have not found one that actually helps. My arrival date is May 16th so I am stressing.

Thank you so much! Ive been thinking about the international program (UK to USA) and i have no clue what to pack! Ive been getting information and stuff. Any other information that people would need to know??
