I still get misty eyed thinking about it! We did the Hidden Villages of Santorini excursion with Disney Cruise Line and it was an amazing experience. I then met back up with Adam and we had a lovely dinner at Animator's Palate.

I loved every minute of this! The reality is that I probable will never make it to many of these places and so being able to see it through your eyes has been so nice! By the way I think this is my favorite outfit of yours from the cruise!! ❤

So appreciate your words about the donkeys. Hate that they do this. It’s awful for them. We took the stairs down and it was SO treacherous! Many do it, but I would not recommend it. Very slippery.

At 21:05 the kid is wearing a shirt from my work place, Clearwater Marine Aquarium!!! I work in the gift shop so I probably helped him buy it! Small world!!!

Great vlog! Thank you for sharing your time in Santorini. We just returned from a Med cruise on the Enchanted Princess and unfortunately skipped this stop because we were exhausted after a full house of excursions and a big set of blisters to show for it. (I forgot cruise food makes my feet swell!) I just didn't have it in me to walk around some ruins and the town and then worry about standing in the line for the tram. I was so done! We did enjoy watching the sunset on the mountain from the ship. I think the line was pretty bad because we were 2 hrs late sailing away. The Disney experience looks wonderful and you've made me much less concerned about being two adults without kids or grandkids on one of these cruises. There's the Disney Magic on the West coast now so maybe a cruise on her is in our futures? 🎉 Happy sailing! ❤

Our Greek friend we stayed with when we went to Greece told us to pack our "slippy shoes" for walking around the colosseum and stuff. That marble is so slick! Thanks for including the church bells - so lovely! We didn't go to Santorini - we avoided the touristy places except for Athens. We are looking into a Med Cruise now!

Wow that view of the ships and sea from the cable car coming down was fabulous and that view from the ship when you having your margarita was fabulous too….departure views amazing and the light on the cliffs. Everyone knows Queen..best band in the world. Love your skirt…..👍🇬🇧

I loved Santorini and I'm so happy you enjoyed it. We stayed in a cave house in Oia for 4 days and it was amazing. The food was delicious, the views were out of this world and visiting the ancient archeological site at Akrotiri was like stepping back to.thr Bronze Age.

Honestly before I did one the cost just seemed ridiculous (and they are expensive no question) but having gone I now feel like the value really is there

@@JenLefforge I totally agree 😃 we have done one cruise on Disney Magic to the Fjords and for the same fare we are doing a very similar cruise with P&O Cruises next Aug (for my 50th🍾🥂) and we have been able to book a suite. However, we WILL do another Disney cruise - the service, food and overall experience is unmatched and worth every penny 🥰🥰 so glad you and Adam had such a good time 🥰🥰 xx

I love Greece so much! I’m glad you mentioned the donkey situation. Those poor animals. A woman on our cruise slipped on donkey poo walking back down the steps and had to be airlifted out. We had a very long wait for the cable car in the evening. They had to delay sailing due to so many still in line waiting! I’m trying to figure out why Adam doesn’t do excursions?

Bucket list travel destination for sure! Love seeing how blue the water is. The rainforest room sounds splendid after an excursion. Your dinner outfit was not only pretty but cozy looking. Lots of fava bean talk but where are all the olives? I would be full of olives and wine 😂

Find your videos through Adam. I loved to see yours. The information you give is so helpful. We (my adult son and me his mom) are platinum cruisers with Disney. Did most the longer cruises, but never the Mediterranean with them. We did a 11 night Mediterranean with NCL October 2021, when we couldn’t cruise with Disney. (We are from The Netherlands). We loved the Greek islands. We did Mykonos on our own, and walked through the streets there. It was lovely, but seeing your video I love to be back and do that tour you did. And we also loved Santorini. It was great to have an excursion, so we also started at the other port. And we also did got back to ship before the crowd came back. We did a tour to Oia, the little village with the white and blue houses. But would opt for the hidden villages a next time. Looking forward to your next video. We didn’t got to Crete, but we’re there about 20 years ago, so I’m curious how it is now. So again thank you for sharing your videos.

Ah Santorini! We took the cable car up first thing with no line. The line coming back down was really long and in the sun, so we did walk the 692 steps down. I would call them more pebbles imbedded in concrete rather than marble, but slick. We saw a couple of people fall....because donkeys don't wear diapers! We got quite a chuckle at the bottom that they made us sanitized our hands, even though we felt head to toe donkey poo! But there were spectacular views on the walk down!

Loved Santorini but it is hard work if you have problems walking as very steep in parts. Such a pretty Island - we stopped on cliff side for a week and saw whole island. Hired a car so went all over.

Great video! You reminded me of something I forgot to put in my Disney cruise video about the shorter sailings not having the drawings that become animations at Animators Palette! I was on a 5 night on the Magic and was slightly disappointed after seeing so many You Tube and expected it, only to find out upon return and asking my TA that it is only on 7+ night cruises. Favorite restaurant overall though!

I went to Italy a few years ago and one girl brought the largest size suitcase packed with bottled water. I mean an extra large suitcase. She had a hard time dragging it. I told her this wasn’t Mexico, she didn’t need to bring all that. Oh well.

It will be interesting what the future of cruises in smaller cities will look like. I understand why some of them limit cruises as they economically are not contributing that much (apart maybe for bus rental/excursions and souvenirs). We have been to Bar Harbor once and how this little city suddenly became immensly busy and then quiet again was crazy. The ships are just getting a little bit too big...

My family and I went a few years ago and had to take the steps down due to the 2 hour line for the cable car. It was an ordeal! It was so hot, lots of donkey dung, some of us fell a few times, and still look a while. 0/10 would not recommend.

Is the reason you didn't really have to wait for the gondolas was because you took the hidden village excursion and you were able to ride down the mountain? Seems like the line was only at the bottom to go up? I am really enjoying going along with you on this one! Greece is on my list!

The excursion let us off at a different port so we took the bus but the line down was very long later in the day - it was around 12:30 when I was coming down and most people were just getting there so that's why the up line was so long.

They are and it ranges from around $60 per person to several hundred just depending on how long and what is included.
