So my dreams of Nomz being a Daredevil fan are coming true?

Oh Nomz, by the way I’m not a hyped up Feige fan but he wanted the Netflix Marvel shows to be in the marvel movies, but Jeff Loebe who ran the Marvel Television department & Netflix didn’t want them in The Films. The Netflix shows were originally apart of The MCU canon before that debacle. Now it looks like they’re bringing all those shows back through The Multiverse due to noticing how popular they are.

I also enjoyed all The Netflix shows and The Defenders. It has its problems but I think The Defenders was pretty good.

Yes and no. It only had distribution rights, Netflix didn't own the properties so the shows aren't its. Eventually it's rights would've expired and renovating them for nothing when you can't even make more, cause again, the properties aren't yours, seemed pointless. In the intro you can see it was Marvel Television and ABC Productions product, the former was shutdown to join Marvel Studios to take charge of MCU and series. As for the crew, since in the end the show goes on Netflix they get to decide what goes or doesn't so they are the ones that told the crew and cast that it's cancelled.

Umm no - Marvel had very little creative input on the series

They assembled the whole creative team, with constant input from the people who actually write the comics; then the cast, then the stunt team and the whole crew. Just listen to some of the showrunner's interviews. Also Charlie Cox always referred to the head of Marvel TV as "my boss". The filming was made with the help of ABC Studios team . And the former Disney CEO Bob Iger when announced the distribution deal with Netflix for these shows, said clearly that the shows were to be developed by Marvel and "given to" Netflix for distribution. Netflix is the one that had no creative input, they received the shows as a final product.

@@anomalyinc3239 Unfortunately, Sony signed a deal with Disney back in April 2021, giving them access to their legacy content, including past Spider-Man films and Marvel content in Sony's Spider-Man Universe, to be stream on Disney+ and Hulu and appear on Disney's linear television networks. Disney's access to Sony's titles would come following their availability on Netflix.

Kevin Feige had said in a interview that Moon Knight is going to be as violent as he is in the comics, but considering his poor management of the MCU since Far From Home, I really can't trust his word anymore.

In fact I saw a little bit of it walking by when my family was watching it and there’s already a big, CGI’d cartoony looking Egyptian hippo. I don’t know if that was just in his head considering his mental illness, but that shit already looks ridiculous. Still gonna check it out for my own judgment though of course.

Jessica Jones is (from what I've heard) really bad and I've been told that it's the worst of the Marvel netflix shows.

Season 1 of Jessica Jones is top tier amongst the other shows. Its up there with Daredevil and The Punisher for having a good season 1.

If you say Jessica Jones season 1 is the best I can agree. Great season. Season 2 of Jessica Jones had a interesting character in Jessica's mother but the filler and sub plots killed the season for me. Season 3 was fine for me, Sallinger was a fine villain and I liked Trish's storyline paying off. This is how I would rank my top 5 netflix marvel seasons. After Dr Strange and Moon Knight, im completely done with the MCU. Moon Knight shoulda been like Daredevil in terms of being gritty and dark, instead we got the washed down MCU version where he just blacks out as soon as anything cool is about to happen then we see the aftermath like we are in Hangover

An example was Agents of Shield that had to change a lot after The Winter Soldier. By 2018 - 2019, when the shows were getting cancelled, Disney had announced Disney plus and also Marvel Television and Marvel Studios were being closed to just be Marvel Company, taking charge of everything, series and movies, with Disney essentially taking comand along with Kevin. That's why the new series go hand in hand with the MCU movies and the TV series were more free to their own stuff. It's a very confusing and foolish world we live in. Netflix is like the EA of streaming services, they have tons of money and resources at their disposal but aren't willing to use any of it to either improve their products or hold on to it.

@@delta2372 When Sony and Fox bought Spiderman and X-Men, Marvel was on it's last legs so they got it pretty cheap since Marvel needed money. Now that Daredevil was amazing, I'm sure even with all the money Netflix could offer, Disney would've declined anyway to sell the rights to produce their own stuff, since they could make tons more by making it themselves. Netflix stared as a distribution platform only. With time and competition it had to adapt to create it's "Netflix's originals". Same with Amazon Prime and HBO. Everyone going for originals cause just having distribution rights has its limits
