I want Uma. In the 1950s, Deluxe Reading sold, through supermarkets at Christmas, 28-30 inch high heeled dolls. While doll patterns didn't come THAT large (the largest was for a 25 inch teen-type Toni doll), talented moms could enlarge the patterns and sew entire wardrobes for the dolls as my own mother did (and I do now for myself and my grandgirls). Today, one need only go to a Kinko's (or equivalent) and use the drafting copier to enlarge them, using the basic formula 28/25 x 100 or 112 %. Imagine the cool costumes you could create to enlarge the wardrobes of these beauties for scenarios you make up yourself.

I know this is super random but the Evie doll looks like a person I know. No joke. They look incredibly alike that it's kinda scary. But I do love how they all look. If you want fully articulated dolls maybe you should try and buy SMART DOLLS. It a ball jointed dolls and also you can buy them an accesory pack that are hands so you can pose them

Wait I think I just realized why they don't have articulation at the knee XD lol See,Most dolls like monster high dolls come with stands cause they have articulation at the knee,and thinking about it,it's almost impossible to make them stand without the extra support,I am guessing these dolls were made to stand by their own for display,so that's why. (Oh well.... That's just my theory!)
