Vacuume is going to be so good for dark wood

As others have said, the vacuum does give memories from night thorns. I personally think it's amazing and 100% worth it, especially when you have a heavily decorated valley. Night thorns constantly spawn in the most annoying places, either right on the paths blocking your way - Or worse, in inaccessible spots. Same goes for herbs or even sticks. Without the machine, you'd have to either live with the clatter - or go into decor mode > move whatever's blocking the way/break a fence just so you can access the area > go back into play mode and pick up the thorn/herb > then go back into decor mode AGAIN and fix/replace everything you've moved. It's super tedious, and I can think of so many such cases where I would've happily paid 10 mist to remove it with the click of a button instead. I can easily see myself still collecting most thorns manually, but then using the machine to collect those 1-3 that spawn in hard to reach places every day. The fact that it also counts towards things like dreamlight duties and star path progression, is actually really cool too - You can use it to complete goals such as collecting 50 night thorns, in literally a couple of minutes. And if you think about it, with how often we get the duty to "collect 4 night thorns", you can literally use it as a machine that converts mist into dreamlight if you so wish, by using it to complete this duty each time it pops up. Also, if you use it in Eternity Isle, it collects splinters of fate (the blue rock-looking things, that are the equivalent of night thorns on the isle). As you know, those give you mist when they're collected -So basically, if you only use the machine to remove those, you ALWAYS get more mist than you spend. Obviously the total would be lower than if you'd run around and collected it yourself, but if you're one of those people that often allows those splinters to sit around anyway, or you think that you might get tired of running around and collecting them in the future - Then this is literally the perfect solution. It's basically a consistent way to farm mist pretty much passively. You only need to come back or pop the machine down every so often, click the button and move on with your day. On top of all of these uses, it can, as you've said - Help you locate and retrieve specific items that are in your biome at any given time. I've had so many times where for example, I move a house after a while, and suddenly find all sorts of rocks, stray crops/fruits and assorted gems hidden on the ground behind it. These things happen a lot, especially if you constantly have characters following you around - Sometimes they get stuck, or they have pathing issues and their extra drops go to random places without us even knowing about it. And that's just one example of course. Even when I do the mining/harvesting myself, I sometimes just miss some, or leave things behind due to inventory space issues and forget all about it. These things add up over time, and as a PS4 player who's constantly fighting against the item limit - Having a machine that not only tells me about those stuck/lost random items I have around the place, but also collects them for me so that I don't even have to go through the trouble of locating and picking them up myself? IDK, it sounds extremely useful to me! I also know that a lot of players have certain items that are literally glitched into the environment, such as certain immovable rocks on the biome edges . I know that I personally have a piece of basil that's been glitched into a rock on the edge of my meadow for almost a year now lol. It doesn't really bother me and visually you can hardly even see it - But I know it's there, and I know that it's taking a slot in my item count which I figured I'd never get back. So yeah, even if most of the time you just have the vacuum sitting around doing nothing, I think it's good to have it, for when you need to do fast or otherwise impossible clean up - Just like a real vacuum lol :) TL;DR: The vacuum is actually awesome and can be very useful in many cases (AKA removing night thorns; effectively converting mist into dreamlight; farming mist; locating and clearing stuck items).

If you use the Vacuum on Eternity Isle to remove crystals, you will get Mist back from them

The 1 overlooked use of the Ancient Vacuum is simply allowing you to have trees anywhere and still collect wood without worrying about optimal placement. In a game that heavily leans into designing your valley however you see fit, not having to optimise tree placement like most of us have to farm wood is game-changing and will let me finally decorate without such restrictions. This is a positive step in the right direction and I cannot wait to see what they release in the future.

Definitely worth it to me for dark wood! Need a lot more large chests and it's such a pain to continually harvest from only one biome. Cooking is extremely slow on switch- so it will be easier for me, plus I work full time so it can work while I'm working and make me money Yes, saw that they do pop out memories

I think early on in the game while we are still unlocking with mist that it wont be worth it, but once we start accumulating mist and need less to unlock things, then we will naturally have spare mist and will be worth using it

Withfocusing on Eternity Isle, those machines are needed for home valley. Mine are suffering from neglect… lol

The auto cooker is so nice since cooking on switch takes so much longer than other consoles. Switch is a hellofalot more stable now though

I’m just glad that we can select the ingredients we want to put in our berry salads or pastry cream and fruits because it usually just autofills randomly! However the auto cooker you can actually select the fruit you want to use 1 times and leave it while you do other things, very worth to me!!

I am excited to be able to cook many candy at one time so I can make alot of that beautiful candy flooring! I have been putting off builds because I am too impatient to cook 1 candy at a time 😅

i decorate my biome with flowers so i def dont want it to pick them up! glad it lets you choose manually

Thank you so much for this! I really hope they reduce the mist costs. For now, I won't invest in ancient machines until my hourglass is updated and I've unlocked the rest of the Isle.

When you have the forgotten lands in original state it is useful to use the vacuum to find the dark wood.

I'm most excited about the cooker. I love the gardening one because pumpkins take so long to grow and the machine can babysit my crops. Wasn't excited about the vacuum, but now I want to put one in the Forgotten Lands because I want to get dark wood consistently and not have to pick them all up lol.

Lol can we vacum Ursula 😂😂 I would say the vacum is useful to me as my valley is decorated very natural and I have trees everywhere and while i do like breaking the rocks and other big resourses I absolutely hate gathering wood because it spawns everywhere in places I cant get to. Cant wait to automate my pumpkin garden though!

Suddenly think of vacuum might be good for fast collecting event items like the Easter eggs, gift wraps etc if they are able to be collected by vacuum so we do not need to run around finding them in corners

Be careful with the gardener robot. When harvesting my crop, I somehow, by mistake, double click it and it caused all the crop to be lost, it pretty much dig again without me even seeing the menu window on the screen. Careful when harvesting crops near it, especially if one of them starts glowing and you need click rapidly.

I don't like that you don't get extras from the gardener and vacuum. I will say, that harvesting via the gardener is free, harvesting doesn't cost mist. Just digging and planting. So if you don't want extra and don't want to spend the time on harvesting, it could be worth it.

I've just realised the 'gifts' correlate to the companion you have with you. I've had rapunzel a lot so I've so many paper lanterns and few of the others. If you timebend with Scar for example you'll be more likely to find the grubby log. I've had to do this to get the parts needed to teach others to be timebenders

Totally agree with you. Right now you need mist for everything. These auto machines will just burn up your mist, which takes a lot of grinding to get. I have over 5 million Dreamlight in the original game, so I would spend that all day long on this no problem if only they took dreamlight!. That amout of dreamlight is over a year of me doing daily tasks like 10 times a day. The mist is taking a long time to "harvest/earn". I will not be using these "ancient machines" until I have a good solid bank of mist and I have finished all the items I need mist for.

These ancient machines honestly feel very "late game" to me, they're not worth it or useful enough to people who play casually and tend to take their story slow. These items were definitely made with grinding players in mind.

@mrstarinsky Now you made all your villagers time benders , like you showed us in a later video, you also do not can use them as gardeners anymore and have no bonus pumpkins or whatever either. I made all my villagers timebenders 32 ones, and it gives me a Hugh amount of mist. I almost collected 1.000.000 mist collected only by use the hour glass.

Of course doing something manually is going to be faster that's not the point. The point of it is it does it passively so you can do other things or just maximize things or just not have to do something at all but still get some benefits.

Can you have the vacuum gather everything and then ask it to dispose everything without giving you coins and inventory clutter? That might be a quick way to clean up biomes, except for boulders, etc

I have gotten memories from the vacuum. Also I saw when you did Dazzle Beach you could vacuum gems so maybe mining unless I was missing something

The cooker will be great for star path when it wants you to cook so many meals so you can work on the other duties

i may use the garden one to dig and water, i hate the digging part and once it is done as long as i plant it won't need to be redone

Has anyone noticed that it takes longer to cook meals if you do it the old way? It’s slower. Also I’ve noticed that when I feed her more food for energy, it doesn’t last as long. I would normally give her a 5 star meal the gold bar would fill almost completely but now, it’s barely half. I hope this is a glitch.

As much as i wish it was good for harvesting because of how much time it saves, between the gold mini-games when your harvesting and the partner drops, you’re losing out on so many additional crops. it’s unfortunate.. hopefully they update that.

well i think the auto cookers farmers and such are intended to be used after you dont need your mist for anythings else anymore. You upgradet everything unlocked all bioms and more, and now only stacking for crafting or cooking with the auto cooker

Do you know what the hidden requirements are on the questlines?

I'm confused about the gardening one. Does it only charge you mist to plant? Does it water and collect for free? Or if you plant yourself, does it cost to water or collect?

Why don't you use vacuum and Gordener together to grow pumpkins? Where you never need do it by hand any more and use cook and you make lot more money without doing anything

This new expansion has felt very short and incomplete but in a way you can tell they are setting up the game for a lot more. It just felt rushed, but also it felt like to me they are setting the game up to be much much bigger. I think most will become very easy to get and auto machines will be more viable

For the best energy by eating food, cook Pastry Cream. 1 milk, 1 sugar cane, and 3 dream magoes. it gives u 4k of energy.

The vacuum is amazing. I can walk into a biome, hit select all, and it basically auto cleans the entire biome in seconds? Absolutely amazing. What else are you going to use mist for once you have all the biomes open? It exists solely for crafting and fueling these machines.

I don’t really think it’s a waste. I kind of wish that we had some machines that could use some Dreamlight. I have an overabundance of it and nothing to do with it.

In the valley the vacuum is useless because we have tons of everything, but in the rift in time land we have to save up a lot, what if you use it there? Did you test it there?

I know this video is 6 months old but I’m just getting to the point of whether I want to purchase these machines and if it’s worth it. I have the crop one but I don’t like it because it only allows you like 12 crops with it.

If you're using the cooker make Fruit cake with goose berries you get better Health out of them.

You are using your partner when you are bending, right Cuz they will give you almost 1/2 of what you get. Nor to mention that just having them with you, it auto that you get extra (BUT WAIT) there's more... Lol if you are using your potions on your tools you make a killing!😊 You can also bend daily the realms you get 1 to 3 bends per visit per day per realm! Sorry if you already know this I just haven't heard anything about people using potions and a friend... I can't believe the difference!

OMG!! Free water!!!!!

I might be alone with it but they should have changed the compensation method for these ancient machines. f.e. Gold Coins would have been okay. Right now there is no real purpose for them, so it feels very unbalanced. You get access too such a huge amount of it but you can barely spend it because THERE IS NOTHING. (Shopping excluded because it's such a tiny amount.)

These machines need this to be recalibrated already. It’s too high for the mist and the advanced cooker only cooking 20 meals - it should be 100 to make it worth it.

For some TOTALY BIZZARE reason they removed the 'Select All' button from the Vaccume Machine! And WORSE than that after every Item you select it jumps back to the bottom so you cant even just do the quick Select Method like u can with you inventry of selecting/conform - Left/Right or Up/Down once and repeat! They have made it a SUPER pain in the butt thing to use now! I think also that the Grdener now only looks for Seeds you have in your Inventory. It nolonger looks at all you have in Storage! And westill dont get any Buddy Bonus when Harvesting with it!

i dont think the cost of mist is bad i have been still using all three and been just fine Maily cuz i keep getting mist trying to farm the gifts and stuff for the items and it takes me forever to just get at least 5 or 10 of them turning villagers into time bending i still having a long time to get them and I'm sure they can always add new items and I don't think there any wallys garden mona boat or beasts greenhouse in the dlc place so its great for the dlc place i would think I already really liking the vacuum since i got little spots in my valley i don't wanna get rid of my fences to get to i can just get it in the vacuum for what i feel is little mist cost cuz al most likely be trying to get a lot of the gift items and i don't think the cost of mist will be a issue since alot of people who will always gather a lot like dreamlight i seen so many people get like crazy amounts like 100,000 to sometimes 75,000 dreamlight I'm sure it ganna be the same with mist eventually its just new once everyone get the stuff mist will prob build up a lot like as i just tried to farm for the stuff to craft it i got over 15,000 mist cuz i kept getting mist instead of gifts half the time and i was using the auto cooking to give me 10 4 star meals for energy kept grinding and moving between vallys actually made me go way faster and still had that must mist i ended up using it to unlock more of the dlc places but i can see myself getting a lot of mist just like my dreamlight

The planter isnt about making the most money, its about speed and ease. Yes, youll make more money harvesting manually and making pumpkin puffs, but itll take a literal 5 seconds to harvest your field and replant it with the machine. Time is the most valuable thing, far more than squeezing every gold coin possible out of your crops. Gold isnt exactly scarce in this game... You can make 3 million with your manual harvest and spend 20 minutes doing it. Im more than happy getting 1 million for the same number of crops and only spending seconds.
