I loved Zootopia because it pulled off so many things most movies fail to do. It incorporated cell phones without them being op or not usable at all. It addressed things like government corruption and the negative effects of stereotyping others. It showed how people turn out, depending on if they give in or fight those stereotypes. Plus, it did something I think my hero academia should have done. It made the protagonist optimistic, but not unrealistic. Judy doubted her dream job as a cop multiple times in the movie, she has real trauma from when she was attacked and scarred by a fox as a child, she honestly needed support from nick and didn't overlook it's importance, even if she acknowledged it wasn't enough all the time.

DreamWorks does lack dark theory , while this movie had some dark parts to it, that deleted scene should have been there in my opinion cause honestly it wouldn't surprise me if they went for a more darker film. not going too far but have more a darker edge to it, kids won't know what's going on anyway, you really think about it. But I hope the next zootopia 2 has the same formula details in themselves but I bet it would change a bit, and focus more on nick and Judy's kids if possible. Weird to see that now haha

'kids won't know what's going on anyway' if I was a kid I would definitely know that something isn't right and that its wrong, even when I watched Zootopia I knew that it was kinda dark and that it could have been darker, for another cartoon with a very well a little dark part is Teen Titans GO in the April Fools day ep, the prank they did on Robin was too bad, wrong and a little bad and dark, even a child would know that if they are the type of kid who knows atleast a little about what is good and what is wrong would still know. But yeah DreamWorks does lak dark theorys but Trollhunters (from them) is kinda dark sometimes but you won't really noticed and yeah it would be weird to see that lol

@@sdmist101 They could incorpotate the shock collar story that got rejected into the backstory of Nick's grandfather. That his grandfather sucessfully made them go away, changing the Zootopia city for better. But also shows that even if the shock collars got rejected, nothing is really gone and they will come back in next movie for Judy and Nick to fight it in smaller scale done from shadows.

Especially them being even more greedy than before by making unnecessary cash grabs like that forgotten spirit remake in 2021 which was bad, KFP 4, HTTYD live action movie, and the biggest unnecessary cash grab I've ever seen Shrek 5. Also they've been losing money years now. Even worse than Disney has recently thanks to problems like covid and Bob chapek ruining things. Even then Disney hasn't even lost that much money.

As an adult I loved zootopia....same as star wars clone wars series. If adults could look past the animation, the storyline, foreshadowing, nuance make them very intriguing. Those go straight over kids heads.

I think DreamWorks *should* take over. They're less homophobic. She-Ra reboot: DreamWorks Voltron: DreamWorks Disney has *one* show that I know of that shows *proper* queer representation, and they cancelled it for, "not being on brand". And when it was revived, the creator was forced to shorten the last season. Gravity Falls has queer representation, but it was shown at the end. By the time Alex snuck it in, it was too late to cancel it. Disney is a cowardly company and it needs to be humbled. On top of that, they're milking old classics instead of doing something fresh. Yeah, they have a *few* ideas. But Lord have mercy, they're still a mess.
