7:20 I used to live in New Orleans so I can shed some light on this accessory. This bracelet is from the Louisiana Mardi Gras tradition. The charm is a crown which is meant to symbolize Three Kings Day (for the three wise men who brought baby Jesus gifts). The colors purple gold and green are traditionally used to represent Mardi Gras although their meaning/purpose is debated. During this time necklaces (and bracelets) are thrown from floats during parades which may be where this bracelet was meant to come from.

for a doll line that is brand new, it has gotten so many things right! Some other doll lines that have been around awhile haven't given us fashion packs or they have given us hideous cheap ones. While not a perfect line....i am in love.💖

I'm buying the Belle doll because she's so pretty. And it speaks to me as a black girl who's a fan of Belle. I do hope that they also sell the clothes separately including the ones that comes with dolls because all them are just adorable. Like I would just buy the Tiana bag because it's similar to a loungefly and I would customize them so much

I think ily Tiana's bracelet is inspired by Mardi Gras beads and the charm on it is a crown.

While I haven't been able to squeeze them into my budget - too much with integrity to juggle, ack! - the ILYs captured my heart immediately and I already like them as a concept. I don't want to jump in so completely with all 6 yet but I definitely have 2 dolls and 2 outfits I want to demo to make sure that I like this line enough to spend much more on it.

There is really SO much to budget for rn lol. 🥲 But I truly fall for these more & more as I see and play with them more. 🥺 I of course have picked up 2 more fashion packs since this review lol. The fact that the fashions can be shared among so many more doll lines makes the adorable Disney theme that much more addictive! I’d LOVE to see this continue with more characters, villains…and boys! 👀 -Max

I want to get them all and all the packs too! These are absolutely amazing! Aurora's pack is my favorite! Literally my favorite colors and a little bit of Gothic thrown in, it's perfect! And Belle's jacket is necessary to my doll closet 😂

They’re so cute! I agree with you immensely on your point in their stiff hips that need to be popped out :/ My Tianas hip actually came popped out when I was taking her out but it popped right back in and after further play with the dolls they really aren’t able to sit well if their legs are popped in. Nonetheless they are very cute and hope we see inspired by villains in the future

They did good with the fashions. Real fabrics as opposed to Barbie’s printed on fabrics makes them so much more collectible to me.

I’m so excited for these dolls! I only wish the arm mobility was better and that the hands were easily removable! Or that the fashions accommodated the hands going through them!

Thank you for such a well paced, detailed review. I enjoyed your insights and they’ve helped to convince me to pick up a few of these dolls. I think it’s so exciting having a line that fits somewhere between the basic play and expensive designer dolls. Looking forward to displaying these cuties!

I think these dolls are fantastic and your review of them was awesome, guys! Very thorough and detailed! I'm not super excited about their hip joints and hair quality either (hope these will be improved in the future), but other than that, I think these dolls are close to perfect. Incredibly cute faces with inset eyes, articulation and realistic proportions (yes, Rainbow High, I'm looking at you), solid bodies that feel like good quality plastic, diverse designs and great fashions, fun accessories. I really hope we'll get more waves.

It's weird to me that they made the balloons blind boxes. They could have put a different little dessert item in the balloon of each of the dolls, and put a different dessert item in each of the fashion packs as well; this way you would get the cute little extra treat, but collectors who wanted them all would know they just need to buy all the dolls and all the fashion packs. The fact that they're blind, and only in the dolls is a bit silly.

Ooh thanks for this inspiration! I really liked the Monique base doll but not her frilly outfit, and I really liked the Aurora/Maleficent fashion pack but wasn’t sure who I wanted to put it on ✅😃

Happy to see you guys reviewed these, and as expected it was a great review! Thanks boys. I’ve been seeing these online but I don’t think Targets near me have Disney stores. The Cinderella one has such a cute face. There are so many fashion packs they could do in this theme, and it’s fun to see how many different dolls can wear them!

While I am not super interested in purchasing this line, objectively speaking they are nicely done. I still think ILY Belle kinda looks like Dynamite Girls Tooka and I can't unsee it. They're not overly Disney looking, have decent articulation, and have nice outfits and accessory packs. You might have sold me on the Sleeping Beauty fashion. Monique looks great in it.

Like the petite body sculpt? I think it would depend on the piece, some might be a bit large, but standard Barbie was the closest match to these overall! 😃

A few improvements could be make going forward like better hair quality for the wavy and straight styles. And the legs popping off shouldn't happen, they really need to work on improving that first. But they did so well for the first roll out with these dolls!

While the dolls are pretty they aren’t it for the price. From the poly hair, the legs falling off and no stands really puts me off from buying any, maybe on a really good sale but probably not.

I can't stand them tbh. My niece who is 7 hates the look of them and said they look like dollar store dolls..(i agree) . They give Disney adult vibes and that's cringe enough for me. Lol the eyes are giving high on coke vibes too lol
