Disney Infinity: How to find RARE Power Discs

In this video I show you how to identify RARE Disney Infinity Power Discs (Series 1) without having to open the package. This will help you in a store before you buy a pack. If you like this video feel free to subscribe for more content.

I've only just started to get these with my nephew, it's a good thing I found this before I brought a whole lot of them and getting no rares; knowing my chances I would only get the commons.

This "trick" in finding rare Power Discs is not going to work for Disney Infinity 2.0 because they got rid of the holographic image on the disc. Disney said "We want everybody to have a fair shot". To me, that means "more money down the drain on duplicate discs"

Disney Gal Heck No!! You've got it all wrong, I'm *not* talking about getting a new system for the game, I'm talking about how to find Rare Power Discs. The trick demonstrated in the video won't work for Infinity 2.0 because they no longer have Holographic Screens on the front, now I'll be practically losing more money on what's going to be a duplicate anyhow... The trick seen in the video was informing you how to avoid duplicates and find rares, which with 2.0 will no longer work since the front image is flat. I hope you understand what I mean.

You can also tell on the TRU packs by the upc code on the backs which exclusive disc you get. I was able to search through a box and found the two Tron discs I was looking for.

also just a note if you go toys r us they have a demo display playing the game if you place a a power disc pack still in packaging it comes up on screen and tells you what is inside that is how i got all my rares..

I've done some research, and the "rare" found in the toys r us ones are exclusive (for example, the Mike's Car one seen in here has a normal variant) you can also figure out which exclusive you're going to get by looking at the UPC and/or product number

btw i you got duplicates of the same disc you can double its effects so the duplicate doesn't go to waste but it doesn't work with the skyblock and the terrain skin but it works with the character disc

Every shop I've visited here in Spain keeps blind bags in hard plastic boxes so you cannot do that. In addition, ToysRus only sells the normal bags. It is going to be difficult for me to collect them all. :(

this no longer works they pulled all series 1 disc from stores and changed them but when 3.0 comes out they will no longer sell series 1,2,3 or the 2.0 disc in stores
