Hi^___^ Thank you so much for suggesting this Disney edit! Had so much fun creating this speedpaint. For me, it's the perfect combination between 2 ideas: Disney girls in high school and Disney Princesses as Mean Girl (and bad girls).
Cinderella is the queen bee Regina George, while Princess Jasmine and Belle are the other Plastics Karen Shetty and Gretchen Wieners :D
This edit is based on the 2024 remake version of the LEGENDARY Mean Girls movie and I chose that because I think it fits the Disney princesses better, with more diversity and more modern outfits and I adore Damian and Janis in the new movie^_^
Did you know that Janis is played by Auliʻi Cravalho - the official voice actress for Moana?! Her singing power is unparalleled and was such a perfect choice to bring Janis from the Mean Girls Musical to the big screen :) Also quite a big fan of Renee Rapp by the way. She played Regina in both the Mean Girls movie and the theatre performance!
What do you think of this Disney Princess scene?
Regina George's jacket was by far the hardest part to edit and I had to figure out how to draw Anna from Frozen 2 as Cady with piercings and a flannel shirt. Not easy but I am glad with how they both turned out :) My favorite Disney Princess as bad girl is by far Moana as Janis! The punk goth glowup makes her look so cool in my opinion :D
When planning these edits, I quickly realized that the Disney movies universes don't have a lot of black guys, so it took a while to think of Wasabi from Big Hero 6, as neither Aladdin or Naveen exist in 3D and they are also way too thin to be Damian from Mean Girls.
If you have any ideas for other Disney edits, please let me know in the comments below. It can be from a new Disney Frozen full movie, Moana clips, or just a general idea about one of the Disney characters, like Belle, Anna, Jasmine, Cinderella or Elsa. I often create Happy Ever Afters or like a transformation - especially of the princesses ^___^ I prefer the setting to be after the Disney movies, to kinda continue the amazing Disney love story, but feel free to give any suggestion, no matter how crazy. ^___^ I also do Disney and Pixar edits in general and besides crossovers like this one, I will probably also start doing Frozen 3 and Moana 2 edits soon xD
