We are back at Disney’s Aulani resort in Oahu Hawaii but for the first time as Disney Vacation Club members. We’ll show you around the resort, give you a tour of our DVC studio room, check out all the new Aulani-exclusive merchandise, and try the new breakfast at Off The Hook. We met Duffy and Shellie May in Tokyo but were hoping to finally meet Olu the Hawaiian sea turtle at his home resort of Aulani. Along the way we’ll show you how a DVC stay has some extra member only events, meet and greets and swag. Come with us on this adventure!

Thank you for being respectful to the monk seal. So many people don’t know to not approach them and it’s so sad. You guys are always so attuned to the culture and bring and abundance of Aloha. Welcome to the club. Our family visited Aulani for the first time in September and we bought into DVC then. We’ve already stayed 1 night at the Disneyland Hotel. Our first big trip is going to be this summer at the Grand Floridian. Welcome home!

The cabins at Fort Wilderness this summer, the new Poly tower winter and not to mention Disney in general with Fantasy Springs in Tokyo Disney and THEN the Disney Treasure cruise. We just started re-watching your previous Aulani/Oahu adventures as we prepare for our first trip there this summer. Last night we watched the infamous chili pepper water episode and even though I've seen it before, it didn't stop me from belly laughing so hard that I had tears running down my face! I really enjoyed how you edited this episode with focusing on just Aulani - I can't wait to see what is next! I think it makes perfect sense for you guys to own DVC at Aulani especially being located on the west coast. We joined DVC in 2018 and our only regret is not buying more points! We are excited to see all of the adventures you experienced during your trip! (Side note: What camera did you use for filming? The quality is out of this world!)

We regret not getting DVC sooner. When Aulani opened 11 years ago points were only like $120 each 😯 we film everything with either the Sony a7s3 or the Sony Zv-e1. They both have the same exact sensor, ones just smaller and simpler. This video we used a new 16-35mm lens that we don’t normally use

As a non DVC member I love that I can rent points from members. It's basically the only way I was able to afford a stay at Aulani. I ended up getting a room for 40% off the rack rate!

Oh, Man, do I MISS THIS PLACE! It’s been more than a year and a half since our week there but I still actually occasionally dream I’m there! We spent WAY too much on the week…but this was Such a YOLO experience! And it was So worth it…likely never gonna get a chance to come back, but I’m glad you guys will take us along with you every once in a while!!

Ha that’s part of the reason we invested in DVC. Aulani is expensive and the first trip we lucked out and rented DVC points cheap cheap because it was 2020. Then the second time we went we were lucky to get a castmember discount which was half off. It’s hard to reason paying that much for a hotel room but it’s amazing. Now that we are DVC the cost is more reasonable for us.

We are staying at Aulani for the first time in a couple weeks and I am running out of Aulani youtube videos to watch. I have watched your original Aulani ones several times already because you're our favorite travel/Disney vloggers. I can't explain my excitement when I saw you posted this video!!! This video came out the day we were visiting Aulani just for the day during a "lolo" 48 trip to Hawaii (my husband works for an airline and this was super last minute). I wish we were able to stay (we did in 2018) but just getting my Hawaii Disney fix was great!! I even saw the gray tabby Disney Aulani cat, too!!! 😁 I was so happy!! AND!! We went to Secret Beach and saw the monk seal. That was cool!! Oh!! And I got the mini lamp ornament. So freakin' cute!!!

Poipu beach in Kauai has a bunch of monk seals. And they do look annoyed when the water splashes them. I watched one do a little scooch up the beach when the water touched its flippers 😂
