Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park has finally reopened! The place is looking better than ever, and the biggest change is the re theme of Tike's Peak to Frozen. But don't worry, the awesome mascot(Ice Gator) is still all over the water park! This was filmed on November 13th 2022 from around 2:30pm - 3:15pm

This Waterpark was way ahead of its time. What an original concept. I remember watching Disney sing a long vhs filmed in blizzard Beach when I was a kid and the park still looks as fresh and new almost 30 years later. A ground breaking concept and excellent design will never go out of style.

⛷LOL I thought this had been opened. THEY even have snoap ❄and the theming was not disturbed, so let the kiddies have their Frozen stuff. Hey, who doesn't like a new tube lift, thought to see a young one sprint up the steps makes me🤢envious. Nice to be reminded of the legend, because I'm just ?? Hope the locals use it. I'll never forget the "rolling thunder" vid done here, so to see clouds is so apropos. TFS 4💜

Yea, I’m totally cool with the Frozen re theme if it’s just in the kids area only! Lol I’ll never forget that insane storm I experienced that day, and am so happy I filmed it. Thank you so much Liz😃

So glad BB has reopened for a while thought it wasn't going to happen. Also glad Ice Gator is still around. His merch is kinda hard to find. Was there any at the park? Fantastic tour 4K.

Yep, it seems like the delay was the construction of that new lift for the tubes over at Runoff Rapids! Unfortunately I didn’t see any merch with Ice Gator. Makes no sense to me because he literally is the mascot of the park lol. Thank you very much Andrew!😃

Haha I can’t blame you there! Blizzard beach definitely has some intense slides lol. I personally like Typhoon Lagoon more(the atmosphere is better for me), but I really like Blizzard beach and it’s awesome backstory!

Blizzard beach is amazing! I prefer it over typhoon lagoon. The small details of it being a former ski resort are amazing. I’m glad the fixed the summit plummet water effect during the refurbishment. Thanks for the video 4k!

Our family prefers Blizzard Beach to Typhoon Lagoon, but unfortunately BB has been closed on both our trips this year. We missed this re-opening by less than a week. Thank you for sharing a great tour of BB.

Never done the water parks at WDW (beached whale here…too self conscious about it to go to a waterpark by myself). But they do look fun!!! and this one is the one I would want to visit (have to give Summit Plummet a go…even though afraid of heights!!). Love the “snoap” on entering the park…setting the complete mood ❄🙃 Even water dripping from the “icicles!” As a former skiier, the theming is so spot-on!! (which is why this is the one I think I’d choose). The Frozen theming in the kids area is so much fun! (Snowgies!!!). I may just have to get over myself and visit this park on a future visit to WDW!!! Great capture of the details, 4K!! Great eye for finding things other might miss!!

I totally understand that Rick! The past few years, I mainly just visit these water parks just to enjoy the amazing theming and atmosphere! Summit Plummet is so cool and I love watching others ride it, but there’s a 0% chance I’ll ever go on it😂 . I would be absolutely terrified to just stand up there next to the slide! But the park is just insanely packed with awesome details and that’s what I love the most about it. If you do decide to go, I’m sure you will have a phenomenal time! Thanks so much as always Rick😃

I think the addition of the Frozen IP is lame. That being said, my toddler will probably like it! I'm glad BB is reopened and this was a nice walk-thru. Thank you!!

Haha yes, I personally am not a big fan of Frozen but as long as it stays in the kids area, I’m cool with it! The Ice Gator runs this place, so removing him entirely would be devastating lol. Thank you so much as always 😃

Not really a water park guy. But it’s good to finally see this back open. It’s been way too long. Just about everything finally seems to be back. Except I can’t buy an annual pass!!!!

I hope you can get your pass soon, but isn't adding on the water parks extra and not part of the lowest passes or are you looking into the super-duper 4K owned premium sucker?
