We stayed in Aruba , resort doesn’t get best reviews because of its size but we loved it, we were often the only people in the Aruba pool

Todd, my family were debating whether we should stay in a deluxe Disney resort or moderate after seeing how nice the Caribbean resort is. We were saying, I believe the Caribbean resort might win. I know they’re pros and cons with both, but if we could save a little money, especially since I will most likely be retiring next year, I feel I will have to find which is the better bang for our buck, without compromising. I guess that’s why we loved Port Orleans Riverside! It had the appearance of a deluxe resort and great amenities, but not as expensive. The other added bonus, we’ve never stayed at the Caribbean resort, either. Will have to do more research. Certainly like the looks of Sebastian’s menu, especially noticed the shrimp and crab cake, and the bread pudding looked delicious!

Donna it is such a beautiful resort. We definitely need to go back for a staycation. You know how much we love Riverside but with the convenience of the skyline to the parks Caribbean is a great choice. Hope everyone is having a great week. I can't recommend Trinidad enough. Be careful walking around the bridge, cuz I've seen gators in the water and there's no barrier between the water and the sidewalk

The Caribbean beach is a great resort. I've stayed there several times and we are actually staying there this summer. The pool and kids splash area is amazing and you can't beat the skyline for transportation. Disney currently has a special for resorts this summer. We got a room that sleeps 5, for $228 a night. Thanks for the video, it makes me excited for our trip.

Barbados was torn down to build the Riverea. Trinidad North was renamed Barbados. And Trinidad South became just plain Trinidad. Love this resort. We have stayed there every year since 1994!!!!

Ya I came home and had to research that. Still can’t believe how big that resort was originally. It is a fantastic resort and the skiliner makes it even more of a must stay. Thank you for showing CBR some love! This was our resort for my family’s first Disney trip and it’s so special to us. I did a ton of research and requested building 45 in Jamaica, only to show up and find out we were going to be in building 54 in Aruba haha. Honestly, I wouldn’t have had it any other way!! That’s what I love about Disney resorts. No matter what building you get, you’ll find advantages and something special and unique to your area. We liked being close to the Riviera and their Skyliner station. It worked out fine.

Thank you, Todd, for the Caribbean Beach Resort tour! My Mom enjoyed the video and reminiscing too! In the 1990s, we went as a family, but I was only 5 months old....so I only hear stories from my Mom how everything was far away! Lol Never have been back...the following year we went to Port Orleans which became one of our favorites! As the years have gone by, we try to stay somewhere new! Wilderness Lodge and Riviera are two of my favorites so far. Still have a few more deluxe resorts to go!

I'm not sure why, but the Caribbean Beach resort was never something that appealed to me. Maybe because all I ever hear about it is how large it is and all I can think about is the end of the night and the thought of a long walk to your room after a long day in the parks and no thanks. We're Pop Century people anyway. Although we did love our stay at Coronado last Feb. My bucket list resort stay is Wilderness Lodge.

It is a large resort for sure but very manageable. Love pop century, it is our favorite value resort. Heck next time you visit just take the skyline over to hourglass and give it a try. The Wilderness Lodge is incredible especially aT Christmas. Thanks for sharing your time and we hope you have a fantastic weekend

We are staying in carribean Beach in 50 days🎉. We are trying to request trinidad because of the under the sea rooms. Hoping to get the first building 34 to help with the walk to the skyliner and main building.

We stayed in Trinidad in February. I do not think we ever saw another person in our section. So peaceful. The walk to main building and Skyliner wasn’t too bad. We had heard busses were problematic at Caribbean Beach but we didn’t have any problems. But we didn’t go out early, so maybe that is why.

I hardly seen anyone as I was walking around. I could see there would be bus problems early with a lot of guest trying to get to the parks. We are like you. You are spot on about the bread pudding being better than the current one at Ohana. The best one WAS the Bananas Foster bread pudding at Ohana...long gone now!

We have stayed at Caribbean Beach several times. It is much nicer now that the skyliner is there. They just changed some of the names when they built Riviera so there isn’t a name of a section missing. I didn’t think Riviera was going to truly be a deluxe since it was built next to CB but it is very nice, we have stayed there a few times as well. I have always stayed in the Jamaica section because those are usually the cheapest rooms. There is a lot of walking no matter where you stay at CB. The main pool is very nice. Thank you for another great resort tour. Makes me wish I was there.

It is a fantastic resort and now with the skyliner it’s even better. I was really shocked that Riviera went there. It’s a beautiful resort but to me just doesn’t fit the area. We stayed at the Trinidad section in the 1990’s and it was far from everything. I remember trying to find our room at night after a long day at the parks and it was exhausting. Now we stay at Pop Century. Not a huge resort but perfect for us and we can always find our room! 😊

We've stayed at CB during the pre skyliner days. Nice rooms, good food, and a good pool area. We were lucky enough to be right by one of the first bus stops. Would definitely stay there again

Last time, January, we stayed in Barbados area. It’s a Preferred section and we liked it a lot. One thing to remember is, there are no elevators at CBR.

We go to Disney world in January almost every year not only is it our anniversary but it also is a cheaper month to go to Disney world :-) We like Coronado and pop century and with the sky liner at the pop century is even more convenient.

Todd.....I just Googled the pronunciation of porte cochere. It can be pronounced either way. You pronounce it the French way and Michelle pronounces it the American way. I pronounce it like you do, the French way. ❤

We had room 4202 Jamaica it was fabulous . Just had to cross the street for the skyliner or cross the parking lot for the buses. There was a refillable mug machine very close to our room where the Ice machines are . And we used the skyliner to go eat at Riviera and also Uber would pick up right in front of our door. Just had a magical time .

Beautiful resort, we walked around that resort a bit in 2022. I got me a joffreys in that same shop. We stayed at pop. We loved the skyliner going to Epcot and Hollywood. I enjoy the Caribbean a little better because of the skyline and it’s a Disney resort. The Dolphin is nice but more geared towards conventions and it’s a third party resort, but it is in a great location. Hope that helps Bridgett. Have a fantastic week.

Hey, I am staying here next weekend. I hope Trinidad is equally as peaceful as it looks. I was wondering what you meant by there was laundry by all the pools? Is this just for towels? Thanks for the video.

The constant hum from the skyliner would drive me batty. You can hear it quite distinctly in the video. It really obviously when it stopped. It’s a nice looking resort but….

Love your videos! Just wondering….Beach Club vs Caribbean Beach resort for the money? We’ve stayed at both, but still torn about the value comparison. Just wanted your thoughts! Thanks for all you do!

Definitely different stays. We love the convenience of the Beach Club to Epcot for sure, but it does come with a deluxe price. I might take the value resort and save that money for great dining. Thanks so much for sharing your time and being part of our traveling family.

It’s a great resort your going to love it. It’s a laundry for you to use to wash your clothes. It’s are credit card activated. The pools do have towels so you don’t have to take your room towels. We hope you have a fantastic trip and thanks so much for being part of our traveling family.
