It had to be God that led me to RevelationsforKids last year. I am a teacher in an Adventist school and I wanted to teach Revelation with truth. I searched and found the site, bought the materials and taught it to my class. They loved it. They followed it very well. I used it again just this week and the kids understood. Revelation Mountain really helps. They connected it to the plot of a story (Intro, Rising Action, Climax, Falling Action, and Conclusion). It's a great tool for teaching children. Thank you, Shama! All prophetic books of the Bible use symbolism. These verses like “I saw a beast rise out of the sea” don’t mean a beast literally came from the ocean. The word sea means ‘people’s and multitudes’, and the word beast means a man of great political authority. These aren’t literal terms. Just like the 10 horns aren’t literal horns. It is so important to fully understand the Bible and know when to take things literally and when they are figurative. Prophetic books aren’t literal, but they always explain themselves if you just read on and study.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say the folks at Disney probably don’t have the faintest clue what Revelation is about. Sadly it doesn’t seem like these brothers and sisters do either.

I understand that you guys are trying to warn christians. But could also share and review movies/shows that you like and have Christian values.

You guys have to do the trailer for "Wicked" the Wizard of Oz prequel. It's a paid ad and the thumbnail was a take on Michelangelo's Creation of Adam. The character Galinda is reaching out and up to the 'Wicked' witch and one side is normal color with a lot of pink and the Wicked side is dark and green. So I just had to to see because things are really ratcheting up lately and it did not disappoint. The opening line before any actual distinct footage is Galinda saying "Are people born wicked? Do we need to have salvation thrust on us?" WTFrick!!! The Wizard of Oz makes so much more sense now. I don't know when it comes out fully but that trailer is LOADED with anti-biblical narratives.

Besides you quoted the scripture WRONG. In Rev. 22.14 NEVER talks about the ten commandments. If you go to the greek text, you will find the words: "those who wash their Robes" Not "do his commandments" like the KJV and the NKJV has. Because who can be worthy to enter haven based on the ten commandments? NO ONE! You ned to have your robes wash and cleansed in the blood of the Lam. Contecs is King: Compare Rev. 7:14, Rev. 5:9! The ten commandments judges the best of us, but the blood of Jesus (Grace) SAVES the WORSE of us! Hallelujah!!!!

Luca. The story about a sea monster who lives in the sea with a bunch of other sea monsters in a community that fears humans because humans kill sea monster. One day, much like the little mermaid, Luca dreams of going to the surface to see the other world. His parents find out about his excursions and want to send him away to the deepest part of the ocean with his uncle to make him forget about the surface world. In an act of both fear and rebellion Luca runs away and begins to live on the surface world with his new friend. You watch them overcome struggle, learning to live like humans in hiding so that they do not get killed in the fishing village they chose to live in. You watch them develop as character who have experienced betrayal, abandonment, love, forgiveness, longing, and food. All this to say that if you have actually sat down and watched this movie from start to finish, you will find that this woman's review of the movie is an EXTREME stretch of the portrayal of the characters and the story. Sure, you could nit pick every single image, and every single statement, and every single color in this film, but then, you could also do that with Little House on the Prairie, or The Jungle Book, or literally any other movie out there. Be careful to whom you listen to. Some people are out there building up boogy man stories about all kinds of things in order to give themselves some kind of credence or importance. And frankly, if her website and other resources are anything like this interview, I would not trust her to teach my children anything about the Bible or God. Read the Bible for yourself. Teach the Scriptures to your children yourself. Watch the movies yourself. Review the movies yourself. Watch trailers and use your own discernment. Sit down and watch movies for children yourself, by yourself before allowing your children to watch them. Teach them your values, not the values of some straw grasper desperate for relevance and attention.
