The Sip and Savor pass comes with six tabs that can be redeemed for food and nonalcoholic beverages at booths and select locations around the park. You can also choose to just buy the food items à la carte. I would say the Sip and Savor pass is a better value. The price for one is $42 for Magic Key holders and $45 for guests. I like that CA Adventure celebrates the racial diversity in this state with Chinese New Year and Day of the Dead etc. I’m Japanese, German, Russian and Chinese and whenever I go to CA Adventure I always feel like those ethnicities are celebrated

My favorite thing about these passes, is when I have any left over tickets & I am leaving the park, I pick a really enthusiastic couple on their way in to the park to pixie dust / gift my extras to. Sometimes my mom and I can’t manage to finish all of our tickets before we head home, it’s always nice to make someone’s evening ❤️ isn’t that what Disney is about after all ? Egg tarts are the same ingredients pretty much as creme brulle. 85 Degrees has excellent ones. It's a Taiwanese bakery , they are in Multiple states. Worth a try.

I got to meet Mushu and Mulan a few years back for the lunar new year and I cried cause mulan has always been my favorite Disney movie….and mushu is my all time favorite Disney character.

I've only been to Lunar New Year at DCA once but I would love to go again. I didn't get to try a lot of food. I only tried the Mickey Hot Dog Bun and it was really good. I would love to go the celebration again but sadly I can't because I already have a trip planned for March for the Disney100 celebration. I totally forgot that DCA is going to be transformed into San Fransokyo pretty soon and I can't wait. It's going to be awesome!! 😊🤩💕

I have a theory! I think Disney went all out with the foods this year so that they could crowd source and figure out what to keep around when they change the wharf to San Fransokyo! Maybe they’re considering getting rid of the quesabirria tacos and replacing them with egg rolls?

I love that you guys tried the dan tat (egg tart). We had the matcha and yuzu ones and they were amazing (the yuzu was the best one). The egg roll was also our favorite at lunar new year. And we loved running into you at Super Nintendo World this week (we were the ones who drove down from San Francisco). Def was one of the highlights of our trip!

Many Chinese bakeries sell the original egg tarts at a fraction of the cost (like at least half the price at DCA). The ones that are caramelized on top are called Macau/Portuguese style egg tarts. There are non-caramelized ones, too, that are delicious. Somebody mentioned the 85 Degrees bakery chain, but you can also go to the bakery section of a 99 Ranch Market if you want to buy a lot of them. I love your videos because of the genuine enthusiasm or moderated enthusiasm in your reactions. 😂 Happy New Year!
