I went to spirit of Aloha in 1994 on my honeymoon! It was really fun. This summer will be our first time staying at the Polynesian in celebration of my son's high school graduation; his choice when we said we could go anywhere. A full circle sort of feeling.

Haven't stayed at the Poly since the 80s, and it was beautiful back then and while I do love nostalgia, the new Moana rooms look amazing!!! Loved the vlog Nate! Thanks for sharing with us!😊🏝

It’s such a stunning and fun resort. We’ve never had the $$ to stay there but we always do the “free option” Of riding the monorail 🚝 and visiting there, pin trading and getting food via mobile order. So it’s not as good as staying there but it’s free and fun to enjoy the interior and just hanging out there with the kids! I pray one day to be able to stay there for a few days, winning lottery would help LOL 😂

I stayed in the Rarotonga building several years ago. It still had the 1970’s vibe and I LOVED it! It also was extremely close to the Great House. When I was tired at the end of the day, getting back to the room from the monorail was so easy.

I am rewatching your hotel stays as they are so good. The mural is Maui’s tattoos which is so cool. If I ever have a honeymoon (unlikely 🤣) that’s where I would stay. I used to say the Contemporary but no I think the Poly has taken 1st place in my heart. 👍

Hello, I did the spirit of Aloha. It was an awesome show. The pathway you too was a stop point where you had a photo op before the show. The food and drinks was also good. It was a nice fun night on a off park day.

That was the waiting area for the show. The torches would be lit and there was water in the creek. It was a fun time. My boys all wore their Hawaiian shirts. Great memories. 😎👍🏻

Hey Nate! The room is gorgeous and I'm obsessed with the floor but I hear ya on the old Poly vibe. I got to stay at the Poly before it was remodeled and I loved the old school vibes. The new style is so nice and bright though! Hope you enjoyed your staycation :) Your videos always lift my spirits. This was definitely needed on a 10 degree day in Chicago!

It's set up just like the remodeled rooms at the Contemporary in the main tower. We were at the Contemporary in Dec that same week my husband hollered at you on the Monorail from where you were doing the Monorail crawl.

Hi Nate!! Poly is my absolute favorite resort. Theres just something so unbelievably special about it for me. I was there with my mom in November and stayed in one of the new rooms (the remodel really was needed looking back at the rooms before these. My pictures in the rooms all look so dark) and I'm with you - I LOVE retro WDW so I was a little nervous about the room redesign but I ended up really loving how bright and clean they were! Every little detail at the resort helps create little rituals while we're there. We loved walking home through the little pathway from the TTC back to our room after long park days. The flowers smell absolutely incredible through that area. I also just purchased that spirit jersey! It was a must have for me. We're switching it up a little this year and trying out the Beach Club for EPCOTs 40th anniversary stay but I'll definitely clear some space in our schedule to pop over to my beloved Poly

I loved the spirit of aloha dinner show! It was absolutely amazing as a child! I learned to hula dance and saw the best fire dancing ever. Also food was great and I was a picky eater so that’s saying something. 😂 It will forever be a favorite aside from character meals of course. I’m so sad it went away.

My Mom...and her Sister did a Poly vacation (without us kids) in the 70's. However. "Eastern Airlines" (the wings of man) lost their luggage. And they had nothing to wear for the Luaua they booked. Being Children of the depression. They made due. using the sheets from the bed and asking the front desk for safety pins.(and band aids...ahhh...it's a nipple thing) Anyways...they proudly walked in the Poly Lobby and requested a flower for their hair...wearing the green floral print poly bed sheets. And tennis shoes.

Wow, this is bringing back memories. We just went to the LUAU right before the pandemic came out. It was unfortunately cold because we did in February of that year. We were laughing because we had to hula with our winter coats on. It was like a fluke cold weekend, and then we we had to leave it warmed back up.

Have done the Aloha dinner show many times!!! One of my favorites for sure!!😎Included all the cocktails you care to enjoy🤪I always had Mai Tai’s) dinner was family style like Hoop dee foo, which was my other favorites😎

Nate, as usual you gave me such a sense of the resort. My son and I have done the Spirit of Aloha on one of our stays at the Poly We loved it. Hopefully it comes back.. It is one of my most favorite resorts for so many reasons. I love that you do the whole resort experience. You are the best.

New Advent Health/Disney tv commercial is from a Moana room with the same view as yours. Hate the music didn't work on the private beach. Always love it when you start singing. 😎

Hi Nate! So good to see you enjoying the Polynesian resort! I love the under the bed demonstration😊 It looks like luggage will fit under there just fine. We have been to the Spirit of Aloha a few times and it is a great show. The last time we went it was Lilo and the ohana theme. The show is great and the food was always excellent as well. I do hope they bring back the dinner show and that you will get a chance to attend. I am sure you would love it!

This is a wonderful video Nate! I love the Polynesian Resort but haven’t been able to get a reservation at the 7 month DVC yet but always do a stroll around the resort . You gave me an idea for my first meal on my trip Sunday and going to Tambu Lounge for the noodles and to Capt Cooks! Trader Sam’s is so much fun! Thanks Nate!!! Hope I run into you next week.
