Well, they started the entire thing with “Maleficent,” a year before 2015 Cinderella. That Maleficent movie is different, setting a different tone for anything they want to do. That said, they need to nail this movie by staying mostly true to what they have done before. Don’t pander to sensibilities. You are adapting a story from the early nineteenth century, anyway.

@@nickperkins8477 I forgot about Maleficent...although, like Cruella, I kind of consider it a prequel/origin story, since the name of the movie isn't "Sleeping Beauty".

One Pixar movie a year is something I can accept. Others I'm sure can as well. And after a decade when everyone's gotten over their exhaustion maybe it could go to two a year. But not any higher. At least not for awhile. Give everyone a chance to get over their Pizar exhaustion.

@@jimbo9208 They have already working on both animated features since Elio would have come out next Year in Spring or so and they having another team that´s focusing on Toy Story 5 since it was announced pretty back than by Iger that was for months. So some work may have been done already but not too much obvious. And filming a animated film is more likely easier than filming a real Film that needs much more than Computers and Softwares.

@@jimbo9208 I know the Actors Strike messing around with all Projects, so technically we don´t know if or when they can bring out those films since a lot of projects aren´t finished or haven´t started filming. But for animation they don´t need the Acting Part til the end, they can easily animating the whole film technically before they starting editing Sound, Voice Score etc. We talking about Animation Movies not Live Action that would be a bigger issue there nothing almost is possible yet but animation a lot can be done without having the voice overs they aren´t called that for nothing they voicing it over the films scenes. They getting the scenes and than voicing for those and that´s something that can be made at the end as well since mostly they have to do it more likely at the end since they need the scenes done cuz they have to see to lip sync adjusting their performance that it will fit with the scenes that were animated.

@@thiricicanalpausado9580 interesting suggestion but jokes aside every Film Fan wants that the strike ends soon but if they don´t get a agreement til next weeks Sunday they already spotted out that the negotiations will end This Year and we could only hope that they would find a Deal finally in early 2024 but that would be a worse case scenerio. Almost two months left for kinda start filming things or continue doing so but if they can´t agree in the next few days no TV FALL for the States and a catastrophical 2024 with many films pushed further not just Disney so I am deeply worried. Netflix Amzn mostly makes it tough and SAG shouldn´t be to raunchy either I totally understand their point with the A.I. issues and wanting some compensations but they have to be arguable and sensical and not kinda ridiculous. Streaming is not the same as regular Movie Studios that getting Money out of Cinemas, TV, Streamers Blu Ray DVD Digital Advertisements and so on they getting a lot but the Streamers not so much with their mostly subscribtions fees. Amzn at least gotten little bit more with their payment (nonsense) so they technically could pay little bit more since they bringing some films to theaters and having things behind pay walls. So I hope we getting a Xmas Miracle the next few days but I wouldn´t bet on it sadly but we have to been reasonable on that chance. AMTPm The Studio Side declared no further negotiations after next week sunday til 2024. So SAG and Them better finally getting together that both sides could at least agree on for the next 3 Yrs. Cuz it would be risky if not than how did they want to play again in the next time situation always striking so long would ruin the Biz.
