It really takes something special to portray Ariel. You have to have the voice but also the ability to express facial emotions instead of talking for the majority of the second act. This young actress did it wonderfully! She had all her cute and curious mannerisms mastered perfectly! The entire cast was brilliant, and wow what a voice Sebastian has - she was amazing, everyone was! Thank you for this piece of art that I keep coming back to watch because it was executed so well! Costuming, sets, actors, everything was amazing.. oh and let's not forget Max!!

Y'all got some straight-up talent. And some DYNAMITE set directors and an awesome backstage crew. I had to clap after they sang "Under The Sea". God bless every person who was a part of making this musical. Best high school musical I've ever watched.

Watched the Broadway version yesterday and I just finished this one, and I think I may even like your version better. You guys are incredibly talented and your vocals are to die for. I actually gasped at Ariel and Ursula's first solo's and I absolutely adore Sebastian!

It's saying this incredible video has zero comments. I'm hoping it's a glitch. This cast was INCREDIBLE! The beautiful actress who played Ursula could be on Broadway. She was a star, kept me laughing, engaged, even fearful at the right moments. She did Sheri Rene Scott proud. The brilliant young woman who portrayed Ariel has a gift. She portrayed that mermaid to a tea, it was impeccable. And of course, the one who portrayed Sebastian was just amazing. The character, the accent, it was perfect. The rest of the cast was incredible, too. Truly the best high school production of The Little Mermaid I've ever had the pleasure of viewing. Wish I lived around the area & could have gone in person, but it reads beautifully from the screen. Sending love to you all!

The musical at my school this year is The Little Mermaid, I really want to audition, I've never been in a musical but I love acting. I hope I can at least get cast, not as a main character (although that'd be wonderful) but I just wanna be in the show at least I hope my audition goes well next month 😅

The singing is amazing, and the songs are stunning!! 🙂😊💕 The sets, stage decorations and costumes are so, so beautiful and the actors and actresses look just like the characters - in a good way, of course. 🙂😊👍 It’s also really nice how they had a lot of people of color in the acting roles. I think it’s great they had an Asian Ariel and an Indian Prince Eric. ❤️ All of Ariel’s sisters here are great singers, and look beautiful. 💕 The girl playing Sebastian the crab 🦀 is a great actress and has a fantastic accent. 🙂 She has a very stylish costume, and dances so well! 😊👍 Her choosing to walk sideways like a crab was hilarious and so clever. I’ve been reading about crabs and how they walk, so it’s pretty exciting to see this. I think it’s pretty nice that the girl acting as Sebastian is a person of color too. Her steampunk hat with goggles makes me smile. 😊 Wow, some of Ariel’s sisters are really catty. :/ “Attina is older” - ouch. :/ There’s nothing wrong with being old or getting older. “Adela - the only male attention she gets is from Dad.” - That’s mean. :/ The lighting for the stage is very dramatic and gorgeous, and matches the emotions of the scenes so well. 😊💕 I’ve been reading about colour symbolism, and how light, warm colours like orange and yellow symbolise safety and happiness, and dark cool colours like blue and purple represent sadness. The girl playing Ursula looks stunning and has a great voice. 💕 I know she calls herself ugly, but she looks amazing. 💕 Her singing for the song Poor Unfortunate Souls was incredible!! Ursula got ignored and treated badly by her parents for being ugly and not perfect? Wow, her parents sound awful. :/ Nobody’s perfect, and there’s plenty of ugly people who are kind, brave and honest. The two boys playing Ursula’s eels are great singers and fantastic actors. ❤️They’re terrific dancers and their costumes look brilliant. 😊 The actors and actresses flying to show that they’re swimming in the ocean look phenomenal!! They must have had so much fun flying in the air and somersaulting to act as if they’re swimming. 😊💕👍 Ariel wiggling her toes when she gets human legs is so adorable. 😊❤️ I love how Ariel says Flounder is very sweet. ❤️❤️ That’s so adorable and made me smile. 😊 The boy playing Flounder is such a talented actor, and his lines are so cute and funny. 😊👍 The boy playing the Chef is an amazing singer and actor, and he’s so funny! 😊🤣👌👍 The people doing cartwheels during the song Under the Sea looked amazing and awesome. 🙂😊👍 The choir singing the song Kiss the Girl was stupendous!! 🙂😊👍 I loved it when people waved sticks with lights, and the drums in the background. Ariel and Eric patting the people playing turtles and waving at them was so adorable. ❤️💕 Their boat moving smoothly along the stage floor was so nice to watch. The backdrop wall showing the beautiful moon appearing and vanishing looked so natural and realistic, and I loved how the wall changed colour smoothly and looked so lovely, like a real sunset. 🙂😊💕

The Sean of kiss the girl is absolutely colorful and romantic. I’m really surprised how much Ursula is because she really is almost like that Ursula from the cartoon The sea king is very handsome but I’m not so sure his parts were good for him even though he is actually into his character it just didn’t fit is just my own opinion unfortunately everyone really brings the real music to the musical
