Some 15+ years ago,"Disney Magazine" was published by Disney. Each issue had special previews of park attractions, insider news, calendars of Disney events, etc. Also featured each month were recipes from hotels and park restaurants. One of my all time favorite recipes was the Strawberry Banana Bread once seved for breakfast at the Wilderness Lodge. So happy that I kept all issues published.

I just watched your “about you” video. I am deeply moved and so grateful for your courage to share. Your path could have taken you to addiction, to a place where climbing out wasn’t felt as an option , to so many different directions. You chose the difficult choice of becoming who you knew you were and making your situation an opportunity rather than a devastating end. It’s motivating and I am positive the story reaches folks on many levels. The positive spirit you have and the state of gratitude you seem to live in is absolutely amazing and uplifting. Yeah we do all have life thrown at us in tragic ways at times. You prove making choice to lift up and make happiness is an option. Making happiness --it can be done ! Thanks so much.

We will be checking in to Wilderness Lodge on Sunday!!! I am so excited. It is my sisters home resort. I have never been to Boulder Ridge so I can’t compare. I do have reservations to Whispering Canyon next week for the first time ever. I know it will be delicious. I love dole whips also so I may have to make a trip over to the Poly. So glad you get to spend time with your family. I know they are enjoying it as much as you are. 😊😊😊

I've stayed at wilderness lodge my whole life and I recently was fortunate enough to stay at boulder ridge, and that was my all time favorite Disney resort experience. The music, smell, and carolwood pacific room... amazing!
