I'm quite happy with these. I've seen some people knock them for being cheap but here's the tea: the only other mattel maleficent collector is 150 all by herself. No rooted lashes, and I believe no knee articulation either. The only other collector Aurora is 75 and no knee articulation, no rooted lashes. These dolls are 50 a piece (cheaper if you wait): rooted lashes, same face sculpts as expensive dolls (same face up in auroras case), and knee articulation. That alone makes them worth it. Sure the outfits aren't the same as the higher ones, but these clothes are still leagues better than some of the glitter coated crap the Disney store dolls are in. So like considering what your options are of dolls of these characters currently in circulation I would say these are the best for the cost. Design wise for Aurora I love that the dress is blue with that pretty ombre, I also love the print and flare of the skirt For maleficent I love that this is the first movie accurate doll I've seen in years. How long has it been since a maleficent doll wore her own outfit? So yeah 100% planning to buy just waiting to see if the cost gets knocked down a bit first for funsies

As that one Maleficent nerd, I can confirm she has the extra collar piece in the film. I'm so mad they usually always leave it off, because it really completes the look! These dolls are great. I got them and I'm not disappointed

The intro is so hilarious, the way you bend Maleficent's knees. She looks like a 2010s Barbie Fashionistas doll with that pose and yes she's like dancing the night away. This is such an exquisite and amazing Disney Collector doll made by Mattel featuring Maleficent and Princess Aurora. So glad to see that Aurora is wearing her blue gown. It's rarely to see that she's wearing it in her dolls.

Ooh they’re so pretty! I’ve been wanting this set just for Maleficent but Aurora looks great too. Mattel is doing a good job, I hope they make a collector Ariel in her mermaid form.

Maleficent's dress is stunning! That iridescent fabric looks like it's much better quality than what I expected from the promos, it really brings to mind dragon scales, and I love the gauzy purple flames. Without any text printed on the dust cover to distract from the dolls, the box looks more like a display case. It's a great design. I call Sleeping Beauty by all three names but think of her as Briar Rose because when she first found out she was Princess Aurora she wanted none of it. She just wanted to go back to dancing barefoot in the woods with a random stranger. Love her for that. XD

This is how I tell them apart: princess dress is Aurora, peasant dress is Briar Rose. Sleeping Beauty is a generic term that applies to both. Sleeping Beauty is my favorite Disney Princess. My favorite SB doll is 40th Anniversary one by Mattel. I think that one is the closest to the film so far. Thanks for the in depth review! Love from Malaysia 💖💖💖

I got the Frozen Mattel set for a really good price and I love those dolls. Hopefully these go down as well later on. The colors on Aurora's dress are so pretty and I do like the screening on Maleficent.

Very nice set...and yes the upper part of the dress from Aurora is plain...but you can buy in a craft store small decoration sparkling stones...also f the crown ...as ring..etc.🎉

I want this set but I purchased the 17" L.E. 65th anniversary Aurora doll from shop Disney and her dress is a blue pink shifting version and it's also stunning, I'm just glad Mattel is bringing some great stuff to the table

Okay, I’ll try to remember that hair that flops is saran (I never can remember how to tell the difference 😅) Wow I’m kinda shocked they have wrist articulation since some of the more expensive Disney Mattel dolls lately have not had wrist articulation! It’s cause Maleficent looked like a flapper when you showed her knee joints, I would have done the same thing 😂

Aurora Grande🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🤣🤣🤣 I swear, these Aurora dolls, look like Ariana Grande, which in turn, makes me think the Glinda doll will look similar. I think pricing/cost is so subjective…..honestly if the person buying it doesn’t care, that’s all that matters 🤣🤣🤣 I do think this is one of the nicest sets of Maleficent and Aurora. I would’ve LOVED that pink gown on the radiance collection to have been BLUE!!!!! She would’ve looked so REGAL✨👑✨
