There are new cavalcades for Magic Kingdom Halloween, allowing characters to appear in a socially distant way for the season! The Disney Villains Halloween Cavalcade will run on select days, and includes Gaston, Captain Hook, Maleficent and Evil Queen. This is a multi-angle version!

So I’m Confused? Didn’t Disney day no parades, fire wires or gatherings? 🤔 not that I’m composing but this looks like a parade they snuck in and just call it something else?

It's a character cavalcade. It goes on unscheduled and unannounced. So you can't line up to watch it because you don't know when it's going to come down. You're either lucky enough to see it or you're not. They do it several times a day so hopefully you'll look out at least one of the times. But again there's no posted times and it's only one float. Doesn't really qualify as a parade.

They run multiple character cavalcades every day, multiple times per day each and each just run by in a minute or so with no posted time.

This is the new design. The one they had before was a long sleeve red shirt. I guess they use long sleeves with his design to cover the fake muscles padding. Even the design in Disneyland Paris has long sleeves, which is not like the one he wears in the actual cartoon

Well done Disneyworld, the collection of characters that represent "evil" offer a spiritually profound reflection for people. We should note this parade features gendered and racialized depictions of evil, however, ultimately by what we can all agree is the most powerful, most "evil" archtype, especially in the context of history - the colonial white male. The colonial white male symbolically leads this parade, as a force that serves to corrupt other various races and genders, if you carefully pay attention to this parade. Note the colonial white male is follwed immediately by what I presume is the Queen of Hearts, Captain Hook, and another White Male, having great symbolic value. This is all a well intended display of white supremacy by colonialism of the merchantile era and monarch powers of Europe at the time. Does the other White Male represent the colonizing force of religion, as perhaps, a symbolic "black pope" - communicating a (Roman-Catholic) jesuit dominance of society? The next float as you can all see features Jafar, as well an 2 evil witches, one who is standing next to a mirror that reflects a mask. The symbolism once again for this segment is profound. Does Jafar represent the colonized, who is ultimately posessed or led by the witch, who may symbolize an inverted sophia of colonization, who, while still represents wisdom and knowledge, represents colonial wisdom and knowledge. Note the significant symbolism of the horns, mirror, mask, and placement of 2 witches that may imply an esoteric or philosophical duality or inversion. What does it all mean or represent? I leave this as a rhetorical question for the viewer.

And so, we should have parades like this in society so people learn. They'll hopefuly be like wow, a witch and pirates, tell me more, and then we're like well, if you would like to find out more, why dont you look up x, y, or z. This is the future of society - I think. Some people dont like edutainment, but I believe this is the future. People enjoy movies, TV, and theme parks. Give people what they want!
