A couple days ago I finished rewatching Superman The Animated Series, and man, those were the days, high quality writing, animation, vocal performances, orchestral score, and a huge amount of respect and love for not just the Superman mythos, but the DC universe as a whole, I miss when that was the focus of entertainment, you know, TO ENTERTAIN

I love it when characters are well written characters where they have struggles, Goals, Fears, and many more aspects to their character. If the whole character is their diversity is the character 1 trait then I absolutely would hate it. One of the best Disability Representatives that I really like is Toph because she has a disability but that is not her main trait. She has her own worries and goals in the series. When I think of Diversity in media done right, I often times think of her, because she has a wonderful personality.

Disney is dependent on hate watching and die hard fans (who will watch anything with Jedi and light sabers) at this point. If they lose these two groups of watchers, the numbers for this show are almost zero. I just don’t see the real fans of this show and I have heard of no new fans.

Whenever I see a diverse cast of characters, the main thing I like seeing is how the character ticks and seeing if their personality is. When we just get a surface level thing with skin color only, not only do I not care, I end up hating the character. I also end up not caring about if they die. I don't mind racial diversity or sexual diversity because it tells us how far we've come as a society, but you need to make sure that they are real people and not tokens.
