I think that the New Mutants will be the first X-Men movie in the MCU. It is a self-contained story, the reshoots could allow it to be altered to fit in with Marvel.

What an excellent informative video on this subject, personally I'm happy to see New Mutants released in theatres but I'm torn on Dark Phoenix, on 1 hand I want to see the Fox X-Men get their proper sendoff but on the other hand if the movie is as bad as rumor suggests do I want to see Fox mess up possibly the greatest X-Men story twice?

The reshoots are only two and a half weeks.

I kind of hate how people put Marvel on this kind of pedestal as if their movies are better than the x-men films, Marvel has had some big duds as well, and I'd say out of 11 films, X-men have had maybe 3 bad ones? How many bad movies have Marvel put out? Dark World, Iron Man 2 and 3, Guardians 2, Age of Ultron was messy, Civil war had huge gaping plot holes everyone seems to ignore. Just like the X-men franchise, they've had mostly good with a few bad. They can't all be perfect.

It does not matter if DF is good or bad, at all. Let me give you and example. Amazing spiderman 2 was awful, and yet Marvel introduced new spiderman in CW, before new good stand alone movie. Simply, if DF is bad they will recast entire mutant universe and start from scratch.

I loved the cast of new mutants, but DF, oooff, I hated it, they're not really suit the characters, it just not the xmen I want. Just recast all of the xmen members, mcavoy and fassbender did great but I want older xavier and erik. Marvel is always on point on casting.

I'll be honest, I'm very tired of hearing about Disney. I'll always support WB because they make different and interesting stiff. Disney has too much power and it's not a good thing. I wish WB animation got the same respect in theaters as Disney.
