I think their explanation is because it's Andy's backyard so it doesn't fit the theme to have a pizza planet.

This looks amazing! The only thing that disappoints me is no indoor seating. Whyyyy does Disney keep making counter service outdoors? Especially when there’s no shade anywhere and Orlando gets sooooooo hot! 😕

Wasn’t there a similar attraction with the similar concept of being small based off Honey I Shrunk The Kids? I feel like I think that might have been in Universal Studios. I definitely remember the Buzz Lightyear ride. That was a lot of fun. Can’t wait to try the other rides & the food at Woody’s Lunchbox! Thanks AJ!

Do you think late August will be crowded? Most crowd calendars and sites say it’s a slow time but I think that’s gonna change for DHS.

The land is fantastic. I was there for soft opening and opening day. A lot of people have been saying there isnt a lot to it, and though its no Pandora, its spectacular. And night time is amazing. I was worried, but they delivered.

I bet that the idea behind it being called Woody's lunch box is that Andy's lunch box was left out in the backyard and Woody is sort of opening it up as a restaurant.

I wish they would feature some of this food at your local grocery store so you could fix it that way where you didn't have to be your own chef. Like they have the Mickey's waffles in the frozen section.

People have to remember that Al's Toy Barn and Woody's Western Town were removed due to budget cuts. They also scaled down Slinky Dog Dash a little bit. The Original concept would have been way better. Not saying this is bad, but i'm surprised how little there is.

What would be cool in the future make what was Pixar Place into an indoor quick service for Toy Story land. It’d be a cool use of the land back there and another place to eat- inside.

We’re currently vacationing in Orlando and wished that we could’ve fit in a visit to Toy Story Land but as I write this post, we’re waiting out heavy rain and thunder at our hotel before heading to Disney Springs. The new park sounds amazing but it’s too bad the public’s opening day is a washout ⛈😔

It´s Woody´s Lunch Box because ANDY is and was FAN of Woody who has his own LUNCHBOX MERCHANDISE that Andy gets as a KID that´s why it´s obvious that it is WOODY´S LUNCH BOX. source TOY STORY 2 ;=)

I’m going at the end of this month! I’m so excited! I tried to get a Slinky Dog FP 2.5 weeks ago but they were already unavailable. I’m going to go a magic hour day and will run there first. I was able to get a FP to Toy Story Mania (my fave) so I’m excited for that. Oh and those eats - I want to try all of it!!

I loved the Slinky ride! We waited about 3 or so hours. Delayed a little longer because of rain. I didn’t like the Alien Swirling Saucer ride. It broke down and was less than 60 seconds!!! Waiting over 85 minutes, not worth it to me. If you don’t have a fast pass... plan on long wait times . We were explained for every 1 person from standby they let more than 10+ in from fast pass. So if you have two in your party then 20+ will be from fast pass before you.

It is andys lunchbox.. Bit of course Andy has a Woody themed lunchbox.. Like if a kid had a Spider-Man lunchbox ir would be called the Spider-Man lunchbox
