Walt Disney World ticket prices have increased for 2025 tickets, hotel guests will receive free water park admission on their check-in day in 2025, the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival starts this week, and Fantasy Springs coming to Tokyo DisneySea looks like the greatest thing ever.

Some multi day tickets years ago used to include waterparks, mini golf, oak trail golf, and way back admission to "Pleasure Island" and Disney Quest at DTD - we still have a few wp visits left on old tickets 😊 - it's the illusion of adding value for most but some people will use it. Split stays or people who drive in locally for a staycation would have a good opportunity to use this new perk.

The water park perk is not much of a perk. Most people won't use it and that is why Disney is offering this little "perk". Most people on their travel day just want to unpack and relax and eat something. Not stress about making sure you have a bathing suit packed in your carry on and get on a bus to go to the water park, then eat, change and get back to your resort to unpack. It just sounds stressful to me. If Disney really wanted to offer a "perk" it should be good on any day of your trip.

@DonnaW71 I understand that. Though it wouldn't be the same. Many Disney podcasts do it this way, and then put the ability to watch live behind a paywall. One of the reasons I like the Tuesday show is because it is live, and there is a great community of followers who are all there for the live broadcast. A premiere model where everyone is sat talking about a video just isn't the same. Though I would totally understand and respect them wanting to put the live version behind a paywall like other channels. I would be sad, but would understand the decision.

Audio and video in the new studio is great! Nice, crisp, and no weird levels and such. Almost always watch a day or two after the show airs...West cost and so not able to tune in live. Moving the day or time sounds good to me....especially if the time is like 3 est/12 pst

I haven’t watched in awhile. You 3 are great together. It’s more of a calm, easy flowing conversation among you 3. Studio seems great. I’m always working during live shows so not able to watch live 98% of the time so doesn’t matter to me how you proceed with live shows 😅

I really enioyed this show, and the ones before it since being in the new studio. Craig, I unironically love your idea for the Tangled inclusion in Magic Kingdom. I’m also really excited for the Fairies universe ride. The Tinker Bell movies have a special place in my heart so I’m very excited to see that eventually.

I love all of the other cast members however, I think this is a perfect combo. You could always bring a guest on for occasions like if you need to plug ABD or if Terissa wants to talk about the visitors center. Each cast member brings something to the table but these 3 are your weekly team. They work so well together. I wish the water park was for any day of your stay so you can do a break day. Depending on when you arrive, you might only have an hour or 2 before they close.

Leaning Palms is great Ryno! They have good plant based options. And Typhoon Lagoon is great. I dont go to a water park to wait all day to ride the slides. We areive at opening, hit the slides and the I sit under an unbrella, feet in the sand with a drink listening to the music. Teen boys and husband love the wave pool.

Oooooooooh... As a musician and audio tech. I was hesitant to post a comment last week regarding the audio quality and it being extremely bass heavy and disproportionate to one another's input. Gone with a set of sure mics.... Epic. Top quality to which I always go for or sennheiser. The audio quality is tremendously improved!

We took our family with my in-laws during the first week of January 2003. I convinced my husband to take our family again this summer. In 11 years, the price is honestly at the point where this will most likely be the final time we can go. It's just getting way too expensive. The cost of the resorts, park tickets, and food just make it impossible to go for most families. Add in the diminished perks and it's going to make most people say, nope!

I've gone to the waterparks two or three times in the decades I've been going to Disney, so that free ticket on the day of arrival is not a perk to me. And if others are the same, I think that's what they're counting on. Anyway, I love the chemistry of the 3 of you! Hannah is a great addition, and you all seem so relaxed, like 3 friends who just happen to have a camera on them.

The water parks perk sounds great, but as someone who comes from CA, I don’t know if I’d ever get a chance to do it since we usually don’t get into Orlando at around 5pm (and that’s with leaving in the morning on a direct flight). But as Hannah said, if we did a split stay, that might work for us.

I like the idea of pre-recording the show, and at the same time allowing your patreon members to see the "raw" version live. Post-production and editing the content makes for a higher quality and more watchable show, IMO. And as you point out, it's a relatively small number who watch live anyway. As a personal side note, I do think if the panel members watched a few of the other successful Disney content creators (Mammoth Club, AllEars, DVC Fan), not to copy but to see how to present content in a more exciting way, it would be beneficial to your show. (many times y'all come off as bored and uninterested in Disney) I'm a long time watcher of the show and do like the personalities so I wish you good luck!

She is 100% accurate on Volcano Bay. It is a PERFECT water park. At 6 foot 2 and 270 pounds I can ride just about everything with my family of 4. There's only like 2 slides I can't ride... and there's more I can't ride at adventure island and Seaworlds... each of those has like 3 slides each I can't make weight for.

Great show and discussion. As far as the water parks go, it would be way too rushed for our family on arrival day. We usually go to Epcot or magic kingdom. We go to water parks in our home town instead.We have never gone to any of the water parks in Disney on our 18 trips. My kids have always loved the hotel pools instead.

The price of the tickets suck, but unfortunately, that seems to be across the board with everything these days. To go skiing at a small resort is well over $100 now and that's not even including rentals. We just got tix for a baseball game this summer for a family of 4 in the 400 section it's over $200. I think I'm slowly morphing into my grandparents with " I remember when, this only cost X amount"

We are looking at booking a trip in late September or October and I am soooooo irked by the cost of tickets. Our last trip was in early 2021 during COVID. We did both WDW and UO and this trip we are gonna have to cut back!! It's frustrating. Looking at more resort time and other less expensive things to do and not parks every day.

For Craig - just to play counterpoint to your position about the soft serve… You should be more receptive to the things most people will actually get on their vacation. The pirate ship and skull rock are where dumbo sits now. We lived climbing all over that and Tom Sawyers island when we were kids. Paris has remake ones definitely not as good as those originals. RIP Chicken of the Sea Pirate Ship. Great tuna sandwiches down below deck.

Keep an eye on what they sell at the French Festival booths for the drink offerings. I was very amused to see they were serving a cocktail made with Pol Remy at food and wine. I think it was about $15. Pol Remy is one of the cheapest French sparking wine brands. It retails at €2-€3 a bottle in French supermarkets. (Around $2.50). It's horrible stuff. Never seen a grape in it's life! The mark up on those cocktails must be eye-watering!

Walt Disney World parks will eventually only be open to those guests staying on property. Thoughts? Keeping in mind I also asked many years ago if people would be open to paying for Fast Passes and got chastised for the comment.
