God, so many people are being really immature in the comment section. In real life Matt is nine years older than Candace. Ian was 10 years old than Nina when they dated in real life and did sex scenes on the show and none of you minded! And he was playing a character that had been a vampire since 1864! Alaric and Caroline did not have a sexual or romantic relationship she was the surrogate mother to Jo’s twins and raised them as her own. Stop hating.
