@@TiaBelle123I was thinking that they would do that this year considering that the Sanderson Sisters have been entertaining guests at WDW's Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular for years now. I thought one of these days, they'd get their own treat trail at Oogie Boogie Bash. It would also be great to see the face character version of the Queen of Hearts get her own treat trail one day. She's so much fun, but so underutilized!

Ah Judge Doom and the Shoe: You can almost hear the audience mentally reliving the childhood trauma that scene gave them back then. Also, he really looks like Christopher Lloyd; great makeup.

I want to see them make Scar a greetable villain for the Bash. I can see them making something ala Legend of the Lion King, where he's a puppet controlled by someone behind the scenes with a microphone and speaker system. There even is one for a parade at Disneyland Paris, so it hypothetically can be done! I imagine that being a hit!

For the high evolutionary the really missed the opportunity to have one of the most unhinged villains. Like for older audiences the castmember could be given a remote and while talking nicely with guests, he can click a button that shakes a box (pretend animal in it). He can then scream at the box "Knock it off" before quickly snapping back to a pleasant demeanor.

Things have been perking up in recent years. Doom and the Weasels were in Kingdom Keepers, Roger was in Rescue Rangers, and a lot of merch as of recent. I think Doom was chosen as a similar bit of testing the waters to see if people for sure wanna see more Roger some day.

@gracekim25 Personally I love Yokai...but what I saw at the parks disappointed me. It didn't translate well to the stage. He didn't say anything remotely interesting. I wish they had done better cause I love the movie.

It feels like a huge missed opportunity to not have treats and toys themed around the villains at the Bash. Like I just came up with this but imagine little shoe cookies that you literally dip like dunkaroos into a green sugary frosting! Or a popcorn bucket that is shaped like the spider baby doll in Sid’s room! And a drink flight where the drinks are held in iconic bottles like Yzmas poison and Hades mortal potion! Someone at Disney please hire me for your marketing team lol

I was there last night and while most of the lines were long at the beginning of the night. you can basically walk through all of the treat trails in the last few hours. Judge Doom was absolutely phenomenal to see, I walked through his treat trail a couple times to catch the dip scene. I was able to do all the trails (except sid cause the line was too long when i went back there), see the parade twice and leave a bit early. I also wasn’t really rushing so I definitely could’ve met a few characters in that time if I wanted to wait.) I had a really great time and I look forward to going again next year

No one would know any of those villains you mentioned, and there was no line to see Yokai, so they’ll stick to the same old stuff. The complainers still buy the tix, and if it gets tired for them, then perhaps newcomers can finally get tix. There will always be a market for this event, even if they recycle the same old characters. The biggest gripes have come from influencers, tbh, due to lack of new stuff. Can you believe there are people who have never been to an Oogie Boogie Bash because scalpers grab tix so that the general public can’t?

Ugh Yokai didn't TALK in the rfilm. Silent villain. Also not goop, it was mini robots, think legos. They could have easily made his stage lift and fall to simulate him riding the bots.

They really should have had more Roger Rabbit representation in the parks. The fact that Disney screwed up with Roger Rabbit's rights and their relationship with Stephen Spielberg as bad as they did is baffling to me. Judge Doom should have *been* in the parks in some capacity, being the imposing figure that he was. I'm glad he's here now, though, and I hope Eddie starts making more regular appearances at stateside parks instead of just Disneyland Paris!
