Disneyland 25th Anniversary Parade (1980)

This is a look at the 25th Anniversary Parade held in 1980 at Disneyland. The quality isn't the best but it's from a home video I shot 36 years ago so I guess it held up relatively well after being copied from the original a few generations ago. Best viewed in a window and not full-screen!

Wow, how amazing for you to get to see this again. I was there in 1980 as a kid and remember the Main St Electric Parade so well. Probably in my Top 5 most magical memories.

I was Mickey Mouse in the parade daily! Not sure if this movie is me though. Hah. It’s so crazy to see that in those days we did not have a belt on or any thing to hold onto. We could’ve fallen off at any moment dancing around in those heads!!

Wowee! Was this shot on a VCR with a separate camera? That's awesome!

Yes, the VCR was slung over my shoulder and the camera was connected by a cable that always seemed to get in the way of everything. Fun days!
