Disneyland Paris | December 2023 | Part 2: Amy's first time at PYM Kitchen

Hello everyone and welcome back to our new series!
From Monday 4th December to Friday 8th December 2023 we were in Disneyland Paris along with our friend Amy ‪@amyjoanne93‬ .
This vlog is from Tuesday 5th December 2023.
We started the day in Walt Disney Studios with one of our favourite rides there, Ratatouille: The Adventure. We always enjoy this trackless ride as it feels a little different each time depending where your 'rat-mobile' vehicle goes. Sadly the first two effects (the spray of water from Linguini's mop and the blast of heat when under the cooker) didn't seem to be working this time but we definitely felt the water from the popping champagne cork! LOL
We followed this with a ride that we just wish was better - the Cars Road Trip! As much as we like the main scene in Cars-tastrophe Canyon with the fire and water, the rest of the ride is a let down when you consider how much used to be there before in the backlot tour ride.
After a quick go on Slinky Dog Zigzag Spin we headed to Avenger's Campus for our lunch reservation at PYM Kitchen and to show Amy the area for the first time as she hadn't visited since it opened.
Once we'd eaten our fill we headed to Animation Academy for the first time and joined a group drawing Mickey Mouse. We really enjoyed this and would definitely do it again next time, having done the similar activity at Rafiki's Planet watch in Walt Disney World.
After this we headed over to the main Disneyland Park to tick off a few of our favourite rides for the first time this holiday - It's a Small World, Mad Hatter's Tea Cups and Pirates of the Caribbean!
We hoped to visit a pin shop we'd seen in other people's vlogs located next to the Frontierland Playground and Cowboy Cookout, but every time we had gone there it was closed so we asked a Cast Member nearby and were told it is only open at weekends :-(
As we were in the area we stopped for a brief rest in Cowboy Cookout then headed to Main Street as it was getting dark and Mickey's Dazzling Christmas Parade was due to start (we show a few clips of it here but next week for Christmas we will put up a longer video of it!)
We then had a mooch around some shops before heading to Earl of Sandwich for food in Disney Village then back to our room at Hotel Santa Fe to flake out for the night!

Hi there, its always a good start to the day with a Starbucks!!! 😊 Sorry it was a rainy one again though! Fab to see Amy experiencing Avengers Campus for the first time, woohoo!! I'll admit that I'm not the biggest Marvel fan BUT I love it and feel its a great asset to the Studios park now! Pym kitchen looks great, not eaten in there yet? Love all your Mickey drawing's 😍 So back in May, the day I was leaving was when Its a Small World reopened but unfortunately I didn't feel very well & didn't get to go into the park to ride it, so I love seeing everyone on it... & when I get to DLP next time, it'll be my first ride!!🤩😋That Christmas Parade looks amazing! xx

Hi Debbie! It's ok, we're used to the rain - we're British after all, LOL Yes Amy seemed to like AC, especially PYM's which we can highly recommend! Thank you, we enjoyed the art activity, just a pity we missed the earlier session and a chance to draw Stitch! LOL The parade was so pretty! We watched it in full the following evening xx

Hiya Bob and Dan 🤗 the food options at PYMs kitchen did look great. You all seemed so tired at the end of the day but apart from Dan feeling a bit poorly you all seemed to have a good day 😊 Happy Christmas Eve 🎄 I’m currently in bed full of cold 🤧😷😞 xxx

Hi Lee! Happy Christmas Eve to you too! Aww no, we hope you feel better ASAP!! Yes it was definitely a tiring day, walking around Disney is too much like exercise, LOL! PYM's is definitely good though we still prefer Chuck Wagon and Hunter's Grill xx

lol made me laugh , Bobs comment about the small world tune 😂! I am thinking of going to DLP next November . Would you recommend Pym? Was the Marvel area any good ?😊

LOL. Personally I love the Small World ride and song but know others (say they) hate it! 😂 Although we prefer Chuck Wagon Cafe over at Hotel Cheyenne, PYM Kitchen is really good and is in the park so no having to trapse back to a hotel. Avenger's Campus is good, the Webslinger ride and Flight Force coaster (formerly Rockin Rollercoaster) are fun and there are usually Marvel characters walking around
