Disneyland Paris | December 2023 | Part 6: Stitch, Brasserie Roselie and home!

Hello everyone and welcome back to our new series!
From Monday 4th December to Friday 8th December 2023 we were in Disneyland Paris along with our friend Amy.
This vlog is from Friday 8th December 2023.
This was our last day in Disneyland and as always it felt it had gone too fast!
We were up early for the extra hour in the park that Disney hotel guests get and our main plan, after a quick photo stop by the Casting Door on Main Street, was to FINALLY meet Stitch in his Santa Suit after 2 failed attempts - though by this point Dan just wanted to meet him whatever he was dressed in!
After a long wait and a great interaction with Stitch we headed to the glass and crystal shop in the Castle to hand in a glass wand they were going to attempt to fix for us, then we returned to Santa Fe hotel to check out and pack our luggage into the car. Once we had done that we made our way back to Disney Village to get something for brunch - and decided we'd try the brand new Brasserie Roselie that opened for the first time that day! This is on the first corner of the Village, where Café Mickey used to be.
It looked lovely inside and the food was delicious!
After this we popped into the Disney Fashion store for Amy and Dan to check out the Pandora charms then we headed back to Disneyland Park for the final time of the holiday (cue sad faces!)
We didn't go on any rides, mainly checking out shops and having a last chance to soak up the atmosphere after collecting our replacement wand from the shop in the Castle, so didn't end up filming anything until you see us leaving the park for the last time.
For the first time, we decided we'd try taking the bus back to Santa Fe, so we exited Disney Village by the train station gates and found the stop we needed.
Once back at Santa Fe we took a last look in the shop there then got in the car and left.
After we arrived back at the Calais terminal for Le Shuttle, we sorted out our Skip Tax forms and show you on camera where the machines are for anyone needing them, then wandered around Duty Free until our train time was ready.
The train under the channel only takes about 35 minutes and once on the UK side it was a 3 hour drive home to Swindon - which we obviously didn't film, LOL!
We end the video with our usual review of our favourite and least favourite parts of the holiday and a quick run through on how to use the Skip Tax app before signing off.

Really enjoyed the series. Every time I drive past Swindon on M4 (I live in Bristol) i think of you guys ! Made me laugh 2000 years later ! Keep it up guys!

Hey Bob and Dan 🤗 I really enjoyed this vlog series with Amy! Bob you are always such a romantic about Dan, it’s super sweet 😊 As you know, I love character interactions so I’m glad you enjoyed those, and Dan finally met Stitch - yay! I agree they can be awkward and I always struggle to understand the sign language of the non-face characters 🫣 I’ll watch whatever you put out and I’d join any ‘live’ videos you do as long as I am home at the time. I’m looking forward to seeing what you purchased and hearing about your plans! ♥️ xxx

Hi Lee! Thank you, we're really pleased you have enjoyed it, it was a fun trip! I can't help being soppy over Dan, he's adorabubble, LOL 😍 Yeah I'd say meeting Stitch was his highlight of the holiday! Thankfully most full-body characters have Cast Members with them who help you know what they're trying to 'say'. Hi Bob, Dan & Amy..... woohoo ❤❤❤ SANTA STITCH !!!! yay! So , what time were you actually in the park for, was opening 8 or 8.30 but whatever the season, Stitch always has the longest queue.... (he's such a loved little alien 😛😍 ) Sadly last May was really sweltering , i had to give up unfortunately after about 45 mins...the sun was roasting! I think his queues🙃 were up to 2 hrs!!! Brasserie Rosalie does look a lovely restaurant , glad you all enjoyed it! Really interesting seeing the drive home & all it entails with the french toll situation too & the the return journey on the shuttle. Aww, I'm not surprised you didnt film when you got home or the next day or week....bless ya, you must have felt absolutely 'knackered'!!! 😴😴 I love that you had such amazing character interactions, always my favourite bits to any trip. Thanks guys for a fab series & looking forward to seeing all the purchases 😍 xx

Hi Debbie! Tbh I don't remember now what time we got into the park, lol. Yea Stitch is obviously the best if he has the longest lines! We waited ages for him in March too. Brasserie Rosalie was beautiful, we felt out of place in our garish Christmas tops etc 😂 We always tell each other we MUST do sign offs the day we return from wherever we've been - but we always end up putting it off a bit, then a bit more and again 🤣🤣 Thank you, we're really glad you enjoyed the series - now we need to decide where to go this year! LOL XX
