The fireworks for 14 July 2023 at Disneyland Paris.
On Friday 14 July, Disneyland Paris pushed back the boundaries of innovation by surprising its visitors with an exceptional night-time show to mark Bastille Day. The show set a new European record, with 1,495 drones flying simultaneously over Sleeping Beauty's castle.
Combining pyrotechnics, lights and a ballet of drones, the show paid tribute to the special ties between Disneyland Paris and France. A total of 1,495 drones flew over Sleeping Beauty Castle to represent some of the greatest symbols of French culture, including the colours of the French flag, the Eiffel Tower and the iconic rose window of Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral.
The show also features Disney and Pixar classics with French connections, such as Ratatouille, Beauty and the Beast, The Hunchback of Notre-Dame and The Aristochats.
This show reflects Disneyland Paris' commitment to exceeding visitors' expectations and constantly pushing back the boundaries of storytelling and innovation.
This creation is also the result of a fruitful collaboration lasting over 4 months between the teams at Disneyland Paris and the teams at Dronisos, the official technology supplier based in Bordeaux and the European leader in drone shows.
