► Join me as I try loads of FOOD at Le Rendez-Vous Gourmand, back in Walt Disney Studios park at Disneyland Paris, for the summer 2022 edition. This is Disneyland Paris's summer FOOD & WINE festival that has returned this year, with several different food stands to choose from - including some NEW ones, such as the GREECE and PORTUGAL chalets. There is food from different parts of FRANCE, including classics such as crepes and tartiflettes, a full VEGAN stand, and cuisine from different parts of Europe, from Italy, to Spain and Belgium! I try something from basically EVERY stand and share my favourites with you. This Summer Food Festival lasts till October 2022, so you have plenty of time to enjoy these snacks. Let me know which of the food items I had looked the most appetising? Were there some you think I should've tried that I didn't? Hey Sam! Bacalhau à brás is one of the traditional dishes from portugal. It’s with cod, scrambled eggs and potatoes. It’s not supposed to have rice or be thaaaat dry. Believe me, we have one of the tastiest foods in Europe 😃 don’t let that experience set you aside from trying more of portuguese food. Great video 💪🏻! Apologies for looking a bit white and shiny in the first few clips - my face burnt at the start of this trip, so I'd just put a LOT of suncream on before filming to avoid burning further! 😂🙈

The cod dish from the Portugal stand it 's basically cod with shoestring fries and eggs. When it's freshly made it has some moisture from the eggs, but once it gets cold it becomes really dry. It's a good dish, but not the best for a food stand. The Portuguese Beignet is my favorite pastry! In Portugal it's called Bola de Berlim (Berlin Ball). You can find it in every pastry store and in the summer it's usually sold on the beach. It's like a tradicional beach snack for us 😁 I have to try that Duck Galette! It's on my list since your reviews from Hiver Gourmand.

OMG this is the video our family has been waiting for! We only have one day at DLP and so we’re not eating at any sit down restaurants so we can spend more time taking in the vibe of the parks. Now we’ll have more choices than just the quick service restaurants. Thanks for the awesome overview!

Greatings from 🇧🇪. Glad you liked the Belgian food. That kind of sausage is very common in Belgium, but it's fast food, not really good quality. I'm so glad you shared this info as we will be going this summer and we dread the food in DLP because of earlier experiences. Nice to know there's pizza!

Nice that they have a f&w festival. Have visited the Epcot version for the past 10 years or so which is probably one of Disney's moneymakers and I'm not surprised they brought that to DP. €6 is very comparable to the USA. Hope I can visit it next year if they repeat it annually.

I was just there this week and saw these stands but didn't try the food because it was too busy in the area to even see the menus (it was in the afternoon). I can't believe the Savoie stand had tartiflette, I've always wanted to try that! Now I'm sad.

Im from belgium if u dont know what frikandel sauges has in in dont look for it it tatses better if u dont kniw trust me. I still love them but when i first found out what it was i was a bit turned away.

No way that they have the Frikandel at Belgium. It’s a Dutch snack. As a Dutch person I have never been more offended as now🤣🤣 Also are kroketten not from Belgium(from France) but okay🤣

Frikandel is indeed from the Netherlands, however it is the most chosen snack in Belgium when buying fries at the "frietkot" (small cabins selling Belgian fries with a great variety of snacks, mayo, ketchup ...). For Belgians both fit perfectly together. Thank you Dutch neighbours for such a good snack.

I think they did it because Belgians in general go the the ‘frituur’ , where you buy fried snacks and fries, a lot. Almost every city or village has a frituur. Also the frikandel is actually one of the main snacks Belgians eat there, if not the nr 1 snack.

Hey Sam!! How can they even call it "Bacalhau à Brás" when that's not "Bacalhau à Brás" 🤔 First of the price: I know it's Disney but for 10€ something like that , you would have a bigger plate here in Portugal it real the real dish! 🤣 If you can come to Portugal and try it, if not you have plenty of restaurants in France from Portguese people that live there, and you will understand the difference and for sure you will fall in love with our food! It's sad that Disney sells those plates, making others think that those are the real thing! The same thing with "Bola de Berlim" that they call it "Beignet" my poor and perfect "Bolas de Berlim" don't deserve that! 😅 Thank you so much for showing us, your content, just discovered your account today! :)

Hi Sam, I really love your disney videos! Maybe you could also do a video on gluten free snacks/meals in Disneyland Paris?! My son (2.5 years) can't eat gluten due to coeliac disease. We'd love to take him to Disneyland Paris next year and are courios if there are any gluten free options :-)

Sam: I am glad you liked the fries with the fricadelle, the one snack I always take when going for fries, here in Belgium, its also called curryworst in lots of places (because main ingredient, except the grinded meat, is curry) and worst means sausage

To be honest here in belgium you can get a frikandel and fries it generaly would 6-7€ aswell

It seems that the choice of food this year is better that in previous years. Do you agree? However still overpriced but I guess this is a Disney policy. Iguess there is no way they would consider doing some food from the UK😄

Oh, and not to be a nit picker, but the thing you ate in the Greek stand is pronounced "yee-ros" not "guy-ros". Thanks again for a great video!

As a Belgian, those fries look dissapointing. But I'm glad you liked it. If you ever come to Belgium (region Bruges) let me recommend a few very good 'frituurs'

We love our frikandel or also known as a ‘curryworst’ here in Belgium. Not sure how much ‘real’ meat is in there though. 🧐😂 It has nothing to do with a sausage tbh except for the shape. We also eat a ‘curryworst special’ a lot here. Thats a frikandel sliced lengthwise before frying and topped afterwards with fresh onions, mayo and ketchup. A similar thing you can get is a ‘boulet’, same meat but round shaped. We also love our prawns, cheese and meat croquettes 😁 Oh and they dont even sell the best waffles at this stand. They only sell the Liege ones, the best ones are the Brussel waffles

Frikandels, cheese, prawns and croquettes are all not from Belgium. The Frikandel can you of course eat with different sauces. Maybe you guys give the dishes a different twist??

Sad that they say that the snack with fries is from Belgium but it’s not it’s from the Netherlands, also the kroket is from the Netherlands. Not a good job from Disneyland Paris. They have to call the stand belgium/the Netherlands 🙈🫢

@@Sam4G0d they probably put it here because there's no Netherlands booth. Also frikadel is usually eaten with fries in the North of France so that's probably why they put this combination.
