Know this is very much after your vacation (almost 1year!) but watching this reminded me of when we would do our annual drive from New York to Disney world Orlando when our 3 kids were little (they’re now 33,32,30). I would pack each a bag of toys,snacks,coloring books, etc to keep them amused for the 18 hour drive.(We later purchased a portable tv and they would watch Disney movies;this was way before laptop computers). It was hectic but also heaven! I miss those days 😢. All my world was right there in that car!This vlog brought back such happy memories. I cried tears of joy! Thank you!

The old school Disneyland road signs brought back all the memories! The first time I went in 2003 at the age of 9 I bought a glass with that Mickey Mouse on and it's still going strong today!! The trip looked amazing, makes me want to book a Disney Paris holiday right now after cancelling Florida for October!

You were right, fries are indeed pommes frites in French! :) I'm really surprised your kids didn't enjoy Chez Remy as I think it's one of the best places for kids to eat at DLP! I'd understand if it was Auberge De Cendrillon or Captain Jack's, but Chez Remy's kids menu offers some of the most basic foods out there! They literally do steaks and fish and pasta on the kids menu, as well as French fries, and can always change things according to your preferences.

What a fab vlog, love that you showed a bit of travelling to the park too. I’ve only ever got the train from Paris to there so was great to see what it’s like by car. Looks like they have thought of everything at the park which is very reassuring! Can’t wait for the next part 😄💕

You can ask for a kettle and they’ll bring one up for you. Or have you go collect it. But they don’t usually provide you’ve to ask. :)

This was such a cute video. I am loving the crowd levels. Character meet and greets are odd but I’m enjoying that there are so many to see. The kids excitement at the entrance made me tear up. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for this. When you all were starting out the trip in the car, the kids’ excitement stirred me to tears. I usually go to WDW every year with my SIL, who is a Disney fangirl. We have THE BEST time when we go. We get excited like children do. Like you, we are unashamedly wearing our Disney gear and enjoying our best lives when we’re there. Our trip for this year was cancelled. I’m in the US and there are too many people here who believe we don’t need to take any special precautions to protect ourselves and others. COVID-19 deaths have soared. So, long story not very short, this video brought up big feelings, not just about how much Disney trips mean to me, but also about our crazy situation here in the US. Eventually, it’ll be ok. And I’ll go to Disney once again! Very happy to watch your vids and relive the Magic...

I've never been a Disney sort of person Emma but, I REALLY enjoyed this vlog. I 'm so pleased you enjoyed your trip and the children had a ball! It's so lovely to see people enjoying themselves at such a scary and horrible time without putting yourselves in danger or anyone else. Looking forward to the second part now! I'd been waiting for this video! I love Newport Bay stayed a couple of times there . I did ask for a kettle from housekeeping and got one . Of course that was pre Covid. We paid extra there one Christmas and had a Christmas tree and decorations put in our room. There were also presents of chocolates and a Disney cup and saucer each! It was so magical. It was only available in certain rooms. Ah I filled up when the characters were waving goodbye.

Aw I have such nostalgia for the chunnel. My family and I drove to France every year when I was a kid, though I think we only went Disneyland once and we defo didn't stay at the park. I live in West Yorkshire so we've just been put back in to local lockdown so it was nice to see this and see the rest of the world still moving on. 😊

absolutely love this DLP vlog this has given me so much more confident with going!! With the kettle in the hotel room normally now we found last time when we stayed in the new port you have to ask for a kettle now in the hotels and they’ll bring you one.. I’m not sure if it’s changed with Covid though! X

For a first venture/trip this was so lovely. I really liked how you matched with Erin. So cute. And the safety precautions were so extensive I think I would have felt safe and I am a bit of a germaphobe.

There is a place called Peronne and it’s beautiful got a huge lake a rustic castle and some bars and bakery’s etc me and my family always stop of there it’s a must do!

We stayed here last year and we didn’t have a fridge or kettle in our room. 😕 still loved the hotel though and would stay again. 😃

There is a service station in France which is also a nature reserve type place called l'Aire de la Somme which is really nice and has benches on a river. Definitely recommend it x

Chunnel! Haha proper old school. Live in Kent all my life old enough to remember it being built and the museum by the M20. We call it the Eurotunnel/shuttle now

We were there in Dec and I’m actually crying watching this vlog! 28yrs old and Disney still makes me weak at the knees- hopefully we’ll go again soon! Where’s your Disney castle necklace from? Xxxx
