Жыл бұрынGreat day for railroading! It's been a while since I've featured some "trains in the rain" so here we are. The roster is as follows:
Fred Gurley - Holiday 2 Red
E.P. Ripley - Holiday 5 Blue
(C.K. Holliday, Ernest S. Marsh, Ward Kimball, Excursion 3, Holiday 4 Green and Lilly Belle).
We start this compilation with Ripley from New Orleans Square to Toontown Depot riding alongside the Rivers of America. Then we get closer to Ripley and see her pass through it's a small world with a WONDERFUL crossing whistle on her way to Toontown. Next is a shot of her reflection in the Primeval World and arrival into Main Street, USA. Then we have a quick clip of Fred beating away with her off-rhythmic chuff. Finally, in the middle of a good rain, is Ripley arriving into Main Street with the month-temporary "Floral Minnie" down below. Hope you enjoy!

6:08 wow that’s loud enough to wake up the dead! Hopefully somebody soon we’ll finally see both #1 and #2 out on the same day

Looks like a great day at the park 🎉🎉 a little cloudy but still looks beautiful out 😊. Now I see the rain.

Indeed! The first trip on Ripley was when it started to sprinkle, but then the trips behind Fred and the final clip of Ripley pulling into MSS were defiantly a good shower haha

Norfolk & Western #611 6. Norfolk & Western #1218 7. Southern Pacific #4449, The Daylight 8. Sierra Railway #3 9. Tremont & Gulf #30 10. Great Western Railway #75 11. Death Valley Railroad #2 12. all Canadian Pacific steam locomotives 13. The Dollywood Express 14. all Shay locomotives 15. Union Pacific #618 16. The General (the one from the Great Locomotive Chase of 1862) 17. the Union Pacific Big Boys 18. Union Pacific #844 19. all Mt. Rainier Scenic Railway locomotives

When will the block signals be fixed? It's been like over two months since they weren't working from the fire in NOS.

Hard to say. I'm no electrical engineer so I would not know the proper timeframe for the signals to return to operation

@@WaltsNephew even as an electrical engineer I’m not sure either. I would assume the signal system was a very complex setup to include the trackside and in cab signaling. In that case the issue becomes finding the budget and specialized workforce to repair the damage

What's Nephew can you make sure that you do some videos to dedicate the Sacramento Northern Railroad ? Just like the Pacific Electric Railroad, the Sacramento Northern used to be an electric railroad. With lots of trolley cars, trolley box motors and Electric locomotives that pulled freight trains. And of course the trolley cars used to service a lot of passengers throughout Sacramento County in Northern California, and I think they even went to San Francisco. I kind of forgot but I'm sure they did. And because the Pacific Electric used to be owned by the Southern Pacific Railroad, the Sacramento Northern used to be owned by the Western Pacific Railroad. And I think the other half of the railroad was owned by the Southern Pacific as well. So I hope that you can do some videos of the Sacramento Northern Railroad, I would like to see some videos dedicated to the Sacramento Northern. Which I say was the best electric freight service and transportation system in Northern California, and perhaps the entire world

Walt's Nephew can you make sure you dedicate the Pacific Electric blimp cars and Burny cars, for the next video please ? From way before you dedicated the Hollywood cars and what is dubbed the wooden Huntington cars, I would like to see and watch a video dedicated to the former blimp cars and Burny cars of the Pacific Electric Railroad for the next video. After that can you post a video dedicated to the electric locomotives and trolly motor boxes of the Pacific Electric as well for its own video after that ? I really hope you can do all of this for the next 2 videos, because I would like to see a few more videos dedicated to the other trolley cars and electric locomotives of the Pacific Electric Railroad. I love the Pacific Electric Railroad, used to be the Electric freight & transportation system in Southern California and perhaps the entire world. And I wish it would still today. But luckily the Southern California Railway Museum as a great collection of those Pacific Electric red cars, and all of the volunteers including myself I'm also a volunteer for the Railway Museum in Perris California. Can keep those red cars from the Pacific Electric alive, even for new generations
