Stepping into magic and into the happiest place on earth for a Disneyland rope drop walkthrough! The park looks beautiful as we make our way past the Partners statue and into the Sleeping Beauty Castle. We get the drawbridge to ourselves as we enter into Fantasyland, finding that we’re about to encounter the crowds and opting to go to the statues and waterfall of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, (7:55) getting another gorgeous view of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle before wrapping around and heading towards Tomorrowland. As we make our way towards Nemo’s Submarine Voyage,we catch the Disneyland Monorail on its way out of the Tomorrowland station. The Matterhorn (16:55) is also another beautiful sight on our Disneyland walking tour and we admire it from a few angles before heading into Mickey’s Toontown. When we get back to Fantasyland, we spot Peter Pan near King Arthur’s Carousel! Over in Adventureland, we find Jungle Cruise with a 5 minute wait and are tempted to hop aboard, but proceed with our walking tour and enter New Orleans Square, noting the very short wait for Pirates of the Caribbean. We spot some Disney ducks and ducklings (49:01) at Tiana’s Palace and we get a view of the construction at both the Haunted Mansion and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure (50:50) before leaving New Orleans Square and entering Critter Country. When we make it back into Fantasyland, we see Alice and the Mad Hatter (1:08:47) before exiting the castle towards Main Street U.S.A. and encountering the Pearly Band with Mary Poppins and Bert! After a jolly holiday with Mary, we make our way back down Main Street U.S.A., make an attempt to check out the display in the Emporium windows, then head into Town Square and through the exit gates.
