The Haunted Mansion ride in Disneyland wondrously incorporates elements of Tim Burton's story "The Nightmare Before Christmas" with the characters of Jack Skellington, his dog Zero, Sally, Oogie Boogie and more. I love that ride. I remember going on it for the first time, and there was a bunch of college guys there for spring break. In the middle of the ride, one of them screamed like a girl and was like, "HOLD ME, ROBERT!" It was so funny.

Now see, this is awesome! I'm terrified of having things pop up at me, but at least it looks alot more cartoony, and friendly, for the most part! I'm not even a big Nightmare fan, but that was super cool! I wish they did this for Disney World's Haunted Mansion!

Best Ride EVER!!!! whenever i go to Disneyland, i practically sprint to this ride! Jack Skellington is a BOSS and this ride is SICK!!!!

It's a Gothic Christmas! :D Damn, they should totally have a Nightmare Before Christmas ride. There's nothing quite like seeing Jack Skellington come to life before your very eyes. :3

Everytime we go to disney on halloween, This ride makes me so happy. The movie was just FANTASIC and the ride makes it even better everytime I go on, it never gets old. I always smile as if they know me and its just so fun :'3 I never get bored

I know people think it's pathetic to be soo obssessed with a cartoon, but just hearing the opening credits to NBC makes me squeal with excitement! it reminds me of my childhood and all the happy memories, I've loved it ever since it came out and I think I always will :D Plus I reallly need to go on this ride -sobs- ♥

I went to Disney World a few days ago and was disappointed that this wasn't there at the time. But when the animatronic Jack Skellington came on scream I almost cried!

Every year from September 25th to early January (since 2001), the Disneyland Resort decorates the attraction with its holiday overlay. "Tim Burton's the Nightmare Before Christmas" didn't come out until 24 years after the Haunted Mansion opened. They didn't begin the holiday overlay until 2001, anyways.

I have never been there but I think it would be in November. I realized that a lot of theme parks that do Christmas festival things take the first week of October off to decorate then reopen with the Christmas theme:) I have nice time:)

I got on this ride back on the Christmas of the 2007, weirdly, it was half decorated like christmas, some of the original pieces were there, like the stretch paintings were the most visible ones

Im shocked Walt Disney World havent done this. Since the Florida Haunted House is huge and has more to it than California, they could make the Holiday version more spectacular

I always thought it'd be cooler if we see Sandy Claws up in the Stretching Gallery holding the Ghost Host's rope (like the Phantom in Phantom Manor), and the Host's corpse was decorated like a Christmas tree. *lol*

This is amazing. They could have just kept the usual but put christmas lights on it, but they didn't. They went will a whole new theme (nightmare before christmas) which is so cool and so creative! Like if you agree!
