I would never have thought of this! Adding blended colors, coloring their bodies, and the white gel pen 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍! From pretty to stunning! WOW! I love butterflies and have soooo many dies. Now, I have ways to make them beautiful, thanks so much for sharing this!!!

Amazing card. Butterflies are my favorites and these are just glowing. I hear ya on the kids activities. Through the years my daughter was on competition drill, dance and cheerleading teams. Then much to my surprise she was the only girl on her high school football team. OMGeorge, what an adventure! Thanks Kelly

Ever thought of using some type of “sticky” mat to hold die pieces while ink blending? No more chasing!

Love this card…it is stunning. A tip I learned from Jennifer McGuire on ink blending die cuts is to pop the die cuts back in to the negative space and that gives you more to hold on to while you ink blend. You can put washi tape behind the negative to help hold the die cut in place while you ink blend as well.

Lovely cards. I generally avoid watching “buy this!” videos; it’s why I’ve stopped watching some creators and some companies. I also generally avoid watching card kit videos unless the thumbnail appeals. It’s partly because international postage is a killer and partly because I want to buy what I want/like, I have subscribed previously to some kits and still have some unused because they are just not my jam. However, THIS card video? I have butterflies. I have LOADS of butterfly stamps and dies. In fact, one of my earlier purchases when I returned to crafting was a big shot with extras, which included butterfly dies. Since then I’ve bought several stamp and/or die sets with butterflies. This is great. Also I pretty much watch all your videos anyway. Good job!

Thank you for answering the gel question I had. And, as always, for the inspiration! Gorgeous coloring! I have found, since asking, that in order to be SURE I didn't pick up the underneath colors, that I not only draw the color off on another piece of paper in-between different pieces, but I also draw very lightly, especially on the pinks and reds. Those are my nemesis colors for my white gel pen, for sure! Lol It has gotten better, but I'll be watching to see if you play with it down the line... Thanks a lot Kelly! 👍💕

Your cards are always outstanding. Your boyfriend's color card is over the top. Using bold colors makes your cards extra special. Great idea to create a shaker card. I love that you show us 2 different ways to use the die. You always rock 💖

I really appreciate what you said about the kits and feeling the pressure to buy now or you may not get it. Also, I appreciate that you give alternatives if we don't buy it how we can use what we have already. I had considered buying this kit but because I have many other kits that have been sitting only partially used, I decided against it. Thank you for your honesty and all your great advice and opinions.

I wanted to build my stash a couple years ago and subscribed to Hero Arts kits. Sadly I wound up putting most of them on EBay. I’m not proficient enough coloring and the stamps have small features so I didn’t use them. They are a great price for what you get. Just wasn’t for me. I really love the card. Beautiful colors.

Again Kelly... your cards are stunning! Wondering if you could give me some advice on the gelly roll white pens. I have numerous ones here and they all have ink in them but i just cant get them to continue writing. Id sure appreciate some good words on these things. I hate to keep buying them. What brand and what mm do you use? Am I possibly storing them improperly? Mine also dont stay white when they dry. The color under them comes thru as it dries. I feel you when you say you're not a sports person. My husband used to play softball and taking 3 toddlers and a baby to games was torture for me!!! Especially when it was in the 90's. It would be so hot!!!! I love the cards!! You always make such beautiful cards!!
