+Raja Shahbaz the best approach is to find a built in label that closely matches what you want to achieve, duplicate it and then edit it to suit.

Okay but tell me, it is possible we can make the level's label at the end of of every major contour... And How...Please..

Thanks for commenting. This is not really a “beginner” tutorial, in the sense that it’s aimed at someone who is already able to create a surface and add contours to it. The video is supposed to be a quick tutorial on how to do one small, specific task in Civil3D. There are many other videos on the channel that are focused on the earlier tasks required in Civil3D before you get to the point of adding contour labels.

@@pakciviltech What do you think is missing at the start? Obviously, the actual creation of the surface and contours has already been done when this video starts but I cover how to get to that point in other videos.

@@CADandStuff They mean how to add label to the contour line. I just created contours from grid points and now can't find a way how to add label. I came and find your video and it starts with label already there.

Ah, okay. So, click on any of the contours to select the surface and then on the left of the ribbon you should see a button for adding labels. You a can add a single label at a selected place along the contour, or if you try the multiple option, then you get to draw a line; wherever that line cross a contour, a label will appear.
