That King Ghidorah triplet scheme ALONE smashes anything Kong had. Plus, I'm biased towards Gojira and the gang anyway. Lol.

Kong's lines were all about double/triple meanings whereas Godzilla was just straight disrespectful lol. I still think Godzilla took it but the more I listen to it, the more I can see an Argument for Kong. The Jessie, Nintendo bars, an actual Haiku, and the triplet scheme were just too much to overcome in my opinion.. The "Apex great ape great with an ape axe" is just stupid good writing at the end though lol.

Im glad to see that they’re back - but honestly I think Kong had the better disses but Godzilla had a slightly better flow Edit: after a couple more listens, it’s the other way around

Following up the Harambe bar with a diss in the traditional haiku poetry style of 5 syllables, 7 syllables, 5 syllables was the nail in the coffin. Damn I despise you (5 syllables) You make weak Tokusatsu (7 syllables, Tokusatsu is also the genre kaiju movies belong to by the way) Soft like some tofu (5 syllables) That's a Kaiju haiku. He was already dead but then Godzilla shot him again. 2-1 Godzilla ('cause I think Kong took round 2).

Team Godzilla here but Kong won with that ASL bomb *ANNNNYWAAAAYS* you might not have noticed but that double bass godzilla line was because that's how they created the original iconic godzilla roar... rubber glove on a double bass

I feel like Godzilla had seerijg bara. From the sniffing on the dress, the airplane shooting down withbhot led, and the Jussie Smollet bar. That first one from Godzilla was just killer. The second verse was the weakest. But still had Godzilla calling Kong dumber than he was making it seem woth his sign language bar. That was a direct shot back. Harambe Bar was foul.

i've noticed this is one of the more divisive rap battles because for those who know the source material and the movies over the years, they'll most likely choose kong. and for those that only know the recent stuff and don't know as much they'll choose godzilla.

Kong is constantly slamming with references to Godzilla’s humiliations throughout the film history that most of the reactors aren’t catching on first listen. I didn’t know them either at first. One of my favorite ones is that Oxygen Destroyer is the weapon that killed GZ in the first film

I have watched every Godzilla and Kong movie there is to know about, even the Godzilla animes. I just don't see how Kong beat Godzilla in any capacity besides maybe a few burns.

In the end Godzilla had way better flow, even flexing with triplets and haiku just for the sake of bragging his skills. Kong had a few god rebuttals here and there, and a stronger second verse, but Godzilla had both the flow and the disses.

first round godzilla had hard disses and took it. second round godzilla was flexing too much and using low hanging fruit for his disses, while kong had a couple haymakers with the callout to the '98 godzilla movie and referencing the oxygen destroyer from the original godzilla movie. the third round godzilla had the triplets and the haiku but it was just more flexes and low hanging fruit, not really dissing king kong or his movies. while king kong had references to the godzilla cartoon that came out after the movie, the callout to the first godzilla vs kong movie where kong shoves a tree down his neck, how godzilla: all monsters attack just reused footage. godzilla round 1, kong rounds 2 and 3.

Godzilla had more than that in round 3, For instance his line about the beast from 20,000 fathoms. In short the original Godzilla movie took inspiration from it but became so successful it completely outshines it. The mechani kong line as well, bringing up how Mecha Godzilla was overall better received than kongs robot double. Which also ties into the haiku’s line about king making weak tokusatutsu( the rubber suit style of movie) where the movie King Kong escapes essentially bombed at the box office(same movie with mechani kong) Also the anime line was about the anime Godzilla Singular Point as it was pretty divisive among the fans. Not to mention his rebuttal with “destroy ya” destroyah being a monster born from the oxygen destroyer and it still wasn’t strong enough to beat Godzilla, along with iron man(iron) and Thor(thorium) both representing the elements on the periodic table and as a reference to his marvel comic run where the avengers couldn’t even stop him.
