All through my childhood I'd say Jackie Chan is my favourite actor, he was everything to me. Then as I matured and watched hundreds of movies-good and bad, I realised it was better to decide which movie to watch and which not to, based not on the cast but the director. And lately while reminiscing about Jackie's movies I started thinking why don't I like some of Jackie's recent ventures and then I figured out that I was actually always a fan of Jackie Chan The Director and not the actor. And finally others have started seeing it too. So glad.

Nice observation. One suggestion. Try disecting movies by Chaitanya Tamanhe. Great Flimmaker. Camera angles he used in the court are thought provoking.
