From India here. I've heard Syed Bhai in great detail in many of his videos and podcasts. I must say I'm always blown away by his clarity of thoughts and his ability to speak his mind out. A gem of Pakistan. I also believe that the majority of people in Pakistan even despise him but people like these are the ones who need to be heard. More power to you Syed.

I'm from India 🇮🇳. This is a very long podcast but every minute was worth it. There was so much clarity and logic behind each spoken word. I'm blown away!!! There were so many pointers to take away as learnings that we can incorporate in our personal lives (even if I keep aside Pakistan's current state & political scenario).

co - existence is only possible if u r not having a mindset of having double standards driven by a fake narrative of Religiously motivated Bigoted Superiority. Zia and his followers built this narrative based on the Two nation theory propagated by the founding father of the Muslim League Sir Sayyid Ahmad Khan who was from Aligarh and whose followers r still doing their best in a clandestine organized way to weaken India internally. Hence the Indian state has realized that the only way to crush these zealots is to destroy their most precious creation and achievement i.e. Pakistan. So India post PM Modis famed Sharif wedding attendance debacle post which Pathankot and URI were countered by our Surgical strike at Balakot and other operations . The current Govt. has decided on a wholistic approach of Balkanizing Pakistan by destroying its economy by destroying its internal and external support structure of Pakistan. Hence ur current Status Quo of economic degradation and political turmoil and fissures in the Establishment GHQ in Rawalpindi and ISI in Islamabad. We r further gonna help target ur ex pats and retd, generals with their children and progeny of ur political elite in their European American Australian and Dubai based exclaves created by ur 1% elites. We r going to go after these Paki Parasites Mossad style the way the Israelis did after the Muslim Brotherhood in the 60s and 70s. All this can be done only if their assets and invesments in Pakistan crash and become valueless for raising capital in the global financial markets devaluing their companies and destroying their means to survive globally as calculated by our agencies thus destroying the Fauji faundations. Pakistan will be worse than Lebanon at the peak of its financial crisis all its gonna take is an cataclysmic event at Bin Qasim Port like the one in Lebanon and guess what it only takes a few ill intentioned Afghans or Balochis who were rubbed the wrong way by the Pakistani Army or Rangers to do the needful. Jai Hind

It took me 4 days to watch this podcast till end as I had been doing so in small breaks between my work. But it was worth every minute. Syed Muzammil is a gem and each sentence from him was clear, precise, logical, set in a proper context, and supported by historical facts. His knowledge of philosophy and history is unmatched, and the icing on the cake (the cake being his repository of knowledge) is his communication skill. The way he imparts his knowledge and applies it to answer the question asked is superb. More power to Muzammil.

co - existence is only possible if u r not having a mindset of having double standards driven by a fake narrative of Religiously motivated Bigoted Superiority. Jai Hind

@G That's why I said I am an academic, we are used to seeing regurgitation of existing theory but we look at the art of communications and how well one can articulate a structured argument backed up by theoretical evidence. Muzamil has beautifully relayed the historical facts and philosophical concepts in plain terms for the younger audience using this medium. It is impressive that he's attempting to spread a balanced thought and in doing so potentially and hopefully creating a progressive mindset. Hope this clarifies your question; but I detect a green-eyed monster more than anything else in it. Good luck with your inquiring mind.

co - existence is only possible if u r not having a mindset of having double standards driven by a fake narrative of Religiously motivated Bigoted Superiority. @43:00 Why is Muzammil linking US revolution to revolt against religion? As he said, it was a revolt against injustice. If religion is misused by some people, then it does not mean that religion is wrong. No religion allows tyrany. It means that religion is being applied wrongly. @44:04 In Turkey, secularism was imposed on the defeated society. And religion was effectively banned. They progressed materialy, but the spiritual void remained. This got an outlet in the shape of Urdagan. And people are reverting to religion. @45:00 Muzammil praises secularism in Turkey and Azerbaijan. Crushing religion is not secularism. They have laws against religion, like not being allowed to have Muslim names or the Turkish Cap. Is this what Muzammil wants? And this is what Muslims fear. Another example is France, where wearing a turban or scarf is banned in public. Is this secularism? @46:30 Muzammil says, we should compromise on principles because India is bigger & more powerful. So we should talk to her & ignore principles. By this he means that if Pakistan were more powerful then it should also force it's illegal views on others. Also, he says India doesn't give a damn about Pakistan. India DOES give a damn. See all the Anti Pakistan rhetoric in their media. @47:37 Muzammil says where Muslims are more than 30%, they don't want secularism. This is wrong. Only in places where Muslims are in majority, they want a society that has Islamic values. @1:02:06 Muzammil likes western philosophy because it puts an individual above society. As he says, all other philosophies put society above individual. This is so because, this is the innate psychology of humans. The Libral philosophy has come only in the last century, and is promoted by a certain segment for their own interests. Survival of humans depends on community. As per Social Contract of Rousseau and Hobbs, an individual must give away some of his liberties to enable a functioning society. How many liberties to be given away varies. Liberals want individuals to think only of themselves. There be no bounds of ethics, morality, culture or religion on an individual. This causes gradual degradation and a breakup of social structure. A breakup of Families like we see in the West. There being no emotional bonds between individuals. Such a society is without roots or culture. Aim of individual is to get maximum benefits & enjoy life while it lasts. Pure capitalism which derives from Liberalism has been shown to cause harm to society. Like in West 1% of population owns majority of the wealth. @1:02:06 If an individual is greater than the society, then he/she should not give any sacrifices, for the betterment of the society. A soldier advancing against a hail of bullets, and giving the ultimate sacrifice (his life), will be an ignorant fool. Muzammil himself says, he is prepared to give sacrifices, to promote his Liberal ideology. Why? @1:7:43 Muzammil says, the challenge of Pakistan is wrong Philosophy. This is not true. The challenge of Pakistan is Elite capture. It is they, who invoke philosophies as per their interest. As he himself said, they take decisions to ensure their hold and the nation suffers the consequences. So, if they use religion, then it does not mean religion is wrong. @1:14:39 Muzammil says we are going to default in a year. He is right, that wrong policies of successive Govts is to blame. But he should note that the PTI govt, despite of Covid & being shackled, had managed to turn around the economy. They managed 6% growth, despite there being no "War". Unfortunately, the scoundrels ganged up & managed to bring down his Govt, to protect their own interests. @1:15:19 Muzammil says plagiarism is not checked in universities. This is wrong it has being enforced in last decade or so.
@humaafaq6792
@humaafaq6792 Жыл бұрын
@1:17:00 Muzammil is right. The Establishment is the cause of rot of Pakistan. Also Establishment cooperated with Imran Khan to bring him to power. However, they ensured that he did not have a clear majority, so that they could control him. All the media curbs, and atrocities, that Muzammil talks about were perpetrated by the Establishment. This is clear from the worsening of these practices after removal of IK, by the Establishment. Why does Muzammil not say that the curbs and atrocities multiplied many fold after removal of IK? And why was IK removed? Because he delivered (despite being shackled) and was becoming a danger to their stranglehold on Pakistan. Only problem Muzammil has with IK is that he is right wing and hence against Liberals. @1:19:40 Junaid says that the war is over wooing the establishment & Muzammil agrees. This is false. Imran Khan has totally exposed the stranglehold of Establishment over Pakistan. Now people openly talk of reigning them in. IK cannot allow them this power even if he wanted to. Just like he cannot let go of corruption of PMLN & PPP. This is the biggest accomplishment of IK. Pakistan will never be the same again, even if IK is eliminated. The Establishment is fighting for it's survival. That is exposing them even more. @1:19:56 Muzammil says PTI wants to talk to Establishment (so is ready to surrender to them) also they wanted Faiz. This is false. IK has repeatedly said PDM has no power, so he wants to talk to Establishment. And he wants to talk about holding elections. Establishment offered IK to allow elections and thus come to power, if he was willing to forgive their crimes. This IK refused. Also IK has said he had no plans to install Faiz. Faiz was as much a part of Establishment as Bajwa or Munir. What IK opposed was, removal of Faiz, bypassing the authority of PM by COAS Bajwa.
@humaafaq6792
@humaafaq6792 Жыл бұрын
@1:22:37 Muzammil has rightly opposed extension of Interim setup beyond 90 days. That is what IK is demanding. He has put the Establishment in such a spot, that they are forced to subvert the constitution again. Thus exposing themself. @1:25:21 Muzammil says that democracy does not work due to Biradris/tribes. This is wrong. Actually Tribes & societies exist to protect the member's rights. This is a necessity if the legal system is weak. So we need to implement the rule of Law. Biggest enabler of Democracy is education. And if democratic values exist, then even the Biradries will select competent people. @1:25:34 Muzammil says democracy comes when family structure breaks. THIS IS THE MOST DANGEROUS THING, HE HAS SAID IN THIS INTERVIEW. As said before education is the biggest enabler of democracy. Family is the basic unit of the society, and it must never be broken. It is in the western culture, where the families are dysfunctional, children leave home at 18years and have no bond with each other. Majority of kids live in single parent family. This is the biggest flaw of Western society. And Muzammil is a proponent of implementing it. @1:36:28 Muzammil says rise of populism is due to social media. This is not correct. Populism occurs when there is disillusion with the current system. People look for alternates. Social media provides a platform that cannot be controlled by the authorities. If people are impressed by a leader, then it is simply because they hope that he will be atleast better than those being projected by the mainstream media. @1:42:52 Muzammil says Pakistan can be corrected from outside. THIS IS WRONG. The outside powers have no interest in "correcting" Pakistan. They are only interested in what benefits them. Pakistan can only be corrected by awareness & activism of it's own people.
@humaafaq6792
@humaafaq6792 Жыл бұрын
@1:43:43 Muzammil thinks part of establishment is still supporting Imran Khan. Otherwise he would have been arrested & hanged like Bhutto, the most popular leader of Pakistan. THIS IS WRONG. Bhutto may have been most popular amongst the leaders, but his support base was narrow, due to his own actions. Also there was only one TV channel & no social media. The Establishment cannot control the narrative now. If Establishment had it's say, IK would have been history long ago. @1:51:38 Muzammil says there is Sui gas in Lahore but not in Sui. THIS IS WRONG. Yes Sui gas arrived late in Sui & Quetta, but it is there. @2:07:21 Muzammil says the awakening in Punjab is only in favour of a personality. This is wrong. It is more so against the Establishment. The movement will not die even if IK is removed. @2:08:42 Muzammil says one who is not a friend of Modi, is a traitor. Because Pakistan will not survive without trade with India. THIS IS WRONG. There are many more countries in the world other than India. Survival of Pakistan DOES NOT depend on trade with India. @2:09:03 Muzammil thinks Bilawal "may" be intellectually better than Mariam or Imran Khan. This is a joke. It shows how biased Muzammil is for the Left & Against the Right. This is intellectual dishonesty at it's worst. @2:47:36 Muzammil recommends books by Haqqani. It is clear that Haqqani is an opportunist, besides being a traitor. He started his career as a leader of Jamaat e Islami. Worked with dictator Zia. Then joined Leftist Benazir when she came to power. Joined Rightist Nawaz when he came to power. Then joined corrupt Zardari, when he came to power. Then joined the Indian lobby (anti Army, anti Pakistan) when ousted by the establishment of Pakistan. Then started supporting the Army when hired by Bajwa. So how does Muzammil consider his books intellectual and honest? This means Muzammil himself is dishonest.

Pakistani politics offers a classic case where all the stakeholders are out on a fatalistic trail , (like that of the Norwegian lemmings that are”driven” to perform collective suicide) which can only end one way : in a massive and unprecedented cataclysm . Alternatively it could be said that all the power-wielders and power-brokers are playing a game of “Russian Roulette”. As the Euripides proverb puts it: “Those whom the gods wish to destroy , they first make mad”. May God have mercy on us…….!

Muzammil is a voice of reason and I love how he keeps a calm and composed tone to convey his msg. no screaming or shouting. And his use of Urdu. I see Muzammil on a video, I click to hear him. 10/10 on having him as a guest. Hes doing a great service helping educate Pakistanis about stuff - those who want to open themselves to education that is. Not everyone likes hearing the karwa sach.

Holy moly! This vlog deserves an award for being the marathon of all vlogs - I had to take snack breaks to keep up! But guess what? Totally worth it! Talk about a dynamic duo - "BALD AND THE BEAUTIFUL" takes the cake. Now, I may have a few more wrinkles than you two, but hey, age is just a number, right? On a more sophisticated note, kudos for the brainy, rational discussion with a historical twist. Seriously, it's like the Avengers of intellectual conversations!
