Being a Bangladeshi 🇧🇩, where Mahakali is a part of our culture, and having revered her, this song hit hard while listening to for the first time. One of my most favorite tracks of all time.

Since I know something about hindu gods and goddesses, I have to say something. The goal of tantric hinduism is the transformation of both good and bad into purity so this is also what Kali represents. Usually in western religion, we have "god" and its counterpart "satan". In high levels of hinduism, this kind of dualism and dependency is transcended and enlightenment, unity is achieved

However, in this case, Kali is worshipped instead as a female embodiment of the Anti-Cosmic Principle. Jon Nodveidt, the main man of the band, got his artistic inspiration from the so called "Anti-Cosmic Satanism", a form of Theistic Satanism articulated by his fellow Iranian Occultist and partner-in-crime (literally, lol) N.A-A.218, a.k.a. "Vlad" or "Frater Nemidial". For these guys, Kali is essentially worshipped as a Goddess of Death and Cosmic Anhilitation, an absolute vector of Destruction. Google "Current 218" and "Temple of the Black Light" for getting a neat, overall view of the dark cosmovision these guys held. 😊😊

Thank you for uploading this 4K version. I was lucky to see them live on November 2004 met Jon between the crowd before the show and I'll never forget his eyes.. His work was incredible, and his message, and his legacy, lives on..

As Bangladeshi i grew up watching this holy evil spirit maha kali..... This songs hits hard as a Bangladeshi. Mahakali is the coolest ancient Mythological Goddess.

Mahakali is not a "holy evil" spirit. There’s no such thing about Mahakali in Hindu literature. She is a goddess of time, death, rebirth. In Shaktism, she is often interpreted as Adi-Shaki - the primordial forces that permeate the universe

It's useful and important to correct your false information because in mythology Mahakali is not an evil spirit.
